This very large, very detailed replica was well-received by an ex-Pan American employee. It is a 1/100-scale model versus the typical 1/400 "Gemini Jets" you can purchase for $35 or so. The base is wood, the curved support column is solid steel, and as is the plane's body.Thus, if you're a Pan Am collector, or would simply like a model of the most-recognized Boeing 707 ever built, this is an impressive item that will adorn your desk or fireplace mantel. (It is certainly more impressive than a Pan Am travel bag.)
