This is a great sauce pan. I made the best spanish rice in it, moist and silky, not too wet and not too dry. cooked evenly, and love the vent in the lid. The only drawback is that it is heavy compared to other pans. I aso love the versatile color. I will continue adding to my collection of Le Crueset.

I just ordered new cookware and have never had a saucier pan before...oh, where have you been all my wasted life? This may be the best new thing I've ever had.
