5Great Screen - Great Price!
By S. Kydd
The screen arrived quickly and was well packaged with the screen material wrapped around a plastic tube and inserted inside another plastic tube (4" heavy plastic drain pipe). The aluminium frame is quick to put together, it comes in 6 pieces, the sides are one piece and the top and bottom are in two pieces. The top and bottom frame pieces are joined together with small shaped pieces that insert into the extruded frame and are screwed in place through each side of the frame, works well and makes a very neat and strong join between the frame pieces. There are 90 degree corner pieces that insert into the end of each frame and make it very easy to fit the screen together, make sure you measure the diagonals to check everything is square before tightening all the screws. Once the frame is together it is very easy to fit the screen material, there are 6 plastic rods that have to be pushed into a pocket around the edge of the screen material (2 on each on the top and bottom of the screen and 1 on each side)then you stretch the material to fit the rods within a channel in the frame. Plastic clips are then used all round the frame to hold the rod in the frame channel. It produces a nice tight screen with no visible sags or creases. This was the first frame I have assembled but I had it ready to mount on the wall within 45 minutes and I was taking it slowly! Mounting it on the wall is easy - the supplied brackets work well and it is easy to lift the assembled screen and hook it onto them.I have the screen mounted in a dedicated media room and am using a Panasonic PT-AE3000U projector, this screen works very well and gives a nice sharp, bright image with good colour reproduction and the felt covered frame is excellent at absorbing any light from the projector that over laps the screen edges. I would highly recommend this screen, far more expensive screens might give you a very slightly better image but you would have to have them side by side to notice!Ignore the 1 star review above - the dimensions given by Amazon are the screen viewing dimensions and do not include the frame, the dimensions to the the edges of the frame are 109.4" x 63.4" check out the manufacturers website for more information (which would be pretty sensible before purchasing any product, finding it didn't fit then giving it 1 star reviews....)

5Excellent screen for the price
By LaVar
The frame was extremely well packaged. Double boxed and everything was wrapped in foam so there we no dings or scratches. The screen was rolled in foam with a layer of paper to protect the screen surface then encased in a hard PVC tube. It is extremely unlikely the screen would arrive in less than pristine condition.Except for hanging the screen on the wall, it was easily assembled by one person. The frame was a heavy gauge aluminum and very stiff. The corners were extremely sturdy and frame pieces fit together very tight. The assembly instructions are easily understood. The screen material did not have any noticeable imperfections and was completely wrinkle free when mounted. One complaint, my screen was missing two plastic anchors for mounting the screen to the frame. I will contact the manufacturer tomorrow and ask for a few spares. The frame was easily mounted to the wall and the brackets allow for easy left to right (horizontal) adjustment. The screen seems to be firmly attached to the wall. This is my first projector screen. Previously I projected directly on a painted wall. (A painted wall works better than you might expect.) The new screen was worth the money that I spent. I checked several stores and the Elite screen costs significantly less than their competitors. The Elite screen is vastly superior to the painted wall; I wish I would have purchased this screen sooner. The ambient light in the room can be much brighter than was previously possible. Finally, the movies look much better. Now that I have a screen, I like my projector more. The colors are rich and vibrant and dark scenes are more distinct than they ever were.

5Excellent Quality. So much for so little. Buy it!
By Oicto
Having invested your hard-earned cash in a home cinema projector, you might be thinking twice about whether or not you need a projector screen. Well, don't think about it anymore. You simply cannot realize your projector's full potential without a projector screen. Some people "make do" (using a wall instead). While the result is somewhat passable on a wall (depending on the quality of your projector) the difference between a wall and a projector screen is night and day. When Best Buy wanted to sell me a "cine grey" screen for $2,500, I wondered if the Elite screen would be sub-standard in some way. I can tell you that it isn't. There's a difference between a wall and a white screen and the difference is worth paying for. The same is true with the difference between a white screen and a high quality cine-grey screen. Once you reach this level of quality, the law of diminishing returns applies. That is, you do not continue to get dollar-for-dollar value the more you spend. This Elite screen is simply awesome. It is incredibly well made and solid. All interconnecting parts are made of anodized aluminum or steel - no plastic in sight. The surround is almost 3" thick and has a beautiful black velour covering that is 100% light absorbing. The 1.0 gain cine-grey screen is also very high quality and is tensioned across the frame for complete uniformity. The screen took about 30 minutes to assemble and about another 20 minutes to hang it on the wall. All parts needed are included.I painted my home theater in a high quality "grey brick" color which is also light absorbing (Valspar premium egg-shell). The Elite screen looks awesome on the wall and the image quality is nothing short of amazing. Colors are vibrant, sharp and crystal clear. What's amazing to me is the price. Frankly, knowing no better, I would've paid a lot more for this screen (I paid $468 from Amazon at the time of sale). At the original price of $800, this screen is still worth every cent. As a sub $500 screen it's almost embarrassing to pay so little to get so much.

5Better design than Apple!!
By Peter
Sonos is truly an amazing product. I wanted a system that could both stream music wirelessly to multiple rooms in perfect sync OR send different songs to different rooms. Sonos is the only product that does this.I've now had it for two days, and it's just a mind-blowing product. In addition to playing music in perfect sync, there are just so many things about Sonos that is well thought out. Just an example - I have a large music library, and on my iPod I find it very annoying to scroll through the lists. Sonos answer? Well, the Sonos remote has the same type of scrolling wheel, but also a set of three buttons that are used differently depending on what you are doing. When you are scrolling lists, one button is used for "Power Scrolling", which let's you pick the first letter, and once selected you've now jumpted to that section. Simple, but brilliant.Another great feature - the ability to re-arrange/add to your playlists using only the remote! Locate a song and select it, and Sonos wilk ask you it want to play it now, play next, or at the end of the playlist. Or, re-arrange a playlist in free-form - just select a song, use wheel to "move it, then "place" it somewhere else. And let's talk about the music library features...all other system I've seen do their own indexing, which typically is not done to your personal preferenes in terms of categories/genres, etc. So does Sonos...but Sonos offers an additional way of viewing your library - the folder structure on your computer! That way, I can browse my music the way I'm most familiar with it.Controlling volume, letting multiple players play in sync, is all very simple to do - whether from the remote or from the PC/Mac software. The link to Internet radio stations is awesome - I particularly like the integration with Rhapsody..the fact could instantly see all my existing playlists was truly mindblowing.Other cool features...the Alarm and Clock (seems to be set correctly via the internet). Updating the software for the units and the remote was a breeze - the remote tells you an update is available, then installs and you're done.I could go on and on about the coolness of this product...the fact it also acts as a network switch, that each unit allows additional sound inputs (allowing you to for instance plug in an iPod and play throughout the house), the ability to create playlists with songs from both your computer and Rhapsody, the equalizer, the individual room volume controls, the subwoofer out, the simplicity to add more players/zones...Simply an amazing product, both the hardware, software, and the overall design.Thank you, Sonos!

5Simply awesome!
By D. Reno
For years I longed for an easy to setup, easy to use system that would allow me to listen to my music library in any room or in all rooms. A few years back I purchased the Olive Musica. While it is a nice system for archiving it did not allow the whole house music listening experience I really wanted. After reading several reviews for the Sonos system I decided to give it a try.I purchased two ZP100, two ZP80 and two controllers. The entire setup, including loading the Sonos software on my iMac, connecting all players and updating the music library from iTunes to the Sonos Desktop Controller took less than 60 minutes! The Sonos system is fantastic for playing the music you have stored on your HD. Additional features like Internet radio stations, Sirius/XM radio and Rhapsody are icing on an already sweet cake. We are currently building a home that will include an eight zone Sonos system with six ZP100 players. The ZP100 player is the perfect solution for a room without an A/V receiver (dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, etc.) Just provide power and your own speakers, it really is that simple. The 50 watt amplifier provides ample power for nearly all users. If you really want to crank it up just make sure to use more sensitive speakers. Users looking for "concert level" volumes should probably select a ZP80 connected to a receiver.Overall I have no complaints. The entire Sonos experience has been great!

5Great system
By Darren He
After fiddling with the idea of a wired music system, and then abandoning it, followed by a short-lived experiment with the Roku Soundbridge, my client and I decided to go for the Sonos ZP system. It works perfectly. Sound reproduction at the wired player, as well as the wireless player downstairs is actually better than the sound through an iPod, thanks to the built in amplifier. The Roku Soundbridge, in comparison, actually sounds worse than the connected iPod, even when it is wired directly through Ethernet. Set up of the zone player system is easy, and smooth. While expensive, this system is worth the extra money. Highly recommended.

4Binoculars For Birding
By Gordon N. Stach
I decided to try this rather obscure brand and am not disappointed. I previously had been doing my "birding" with my Swarovski 8x30's and while they are excellent, I needed more magnification for my aging eyes and I didn't want to pay the price of the Swarovski 10x42 roof prisms. I had previously tried my son-in-law's Nikon Monarch's 10x42 and was ready to buy a pair when I came across the Zhumell 10x42 during a internet search. I was able to purchase these from Amazon at a much better price than the Monarch's. They are equally as sharp as the Nikon and they focus a lot closer. My only criticism is they are a bit heavy, but worth the buy none the less.

5Zeiss They're not but they're affordable and work well.
By Junior
I needed a pair of good binoculars for hunting. I had never heard of the Zhumell brand before but after some comparisons with similar binoculars, I decided to buy a Signature 10x42 model. The price was mainly what drove my purchase and I considered the unknown quality v. affordability a risk worth taking. The binoculars arrived Monday and I messed around with them for the next three days. they are easy to use and well laid out. The optics seem to be crisp and well focused. Focusing is quick and very easy with the adjustment wheel but takes some getting used to. It doesn't take a whole lot of adjustment to bring them into focus when panning around a field. The harness system and front lens covers are about the only problem I have had with them.I was finally able to get out on a night hunt with them and actually just returned at about 9PM. I can't remember ever writing a review for a product before but after how well they performed I had to give Zhumell some sort of cudos for these binoculars. I was able to see two badgers when they came out of the woods at 150 yards with a 1/4 moon but could't pick them up in the Trijicon AccuPoint 2.5-10x56 rifle scope ($7-800 scope) until they halfed the distance. Several Reh deer were also out and I was able to clearly observe them. I am very happy so far with these binoculars and hope to enjoy many more hours of hunting with them.

5Good Binocs
By M. barrett
After endless searching on the internet I chose these babies. Easily compares to the pairs I tried out at a few stores that were hundreds more, including Nikon Monarchs, and some $300+ Leupolds. Was kind of skeptical on buying without viewing, but like I stated are way better than others. Are a bit heavy, but I'm used to twenty pound 10X50's and so are actually lighter for me. Only real gripe with these are the harness that comes with it. The holders on the binocs are smaller than the ones on the harness and so need to be rigged. I bought some velcro wire straps for a dollar that seem to work out for me. At -4 Farinheight performed very well giving me crisp bright views of a hairy woody with no problems, it was like seeing one again for the first time. I've only had these for a week and so can't testify to their longevity, but seems like some hardcore binocs. The close focus is awesome which is a big reason I bought them, I'm 6 feet and can easily focus on my shoes/stuff on the ground next to me. Haven't done any serious birding(main use) with these babies yet, but don't anticipate any problems.

5Amazing Quality for Low Price
By Tritia James
These binoculars are almost identical to the Eagle Ranger binoculars that I already own, but at half the price. I am really impressed with the quality of the image I can see through these binoculars. They are heavier than the Eagle Rangers, which does make a big difference if you are wearing them around your neck all day. But a binocular harness is included when you order these binos, which is a really nice touch. It's great that Zhumell has opened up the world of high quality optics to people who would never spend $400 for a similar product. These also come with a lifetime no-fault repair/replace guarantee, same as the very expensive products. Since these are still new, I don't yet know how well they'll hold up to wear and tear, but there are no obvious quality issues. I would highly recommend this product.

5Great mid priced headphones
By S. Urquhart
I am not a huge fan of excessive bass in headphones. For me many of the sealed cans offer a less than desirable listening experience. I own a pair of EH-250's and like them for a few songs then suddenly listening fatigue sets due to the overpowering bass. My EH350's are better but I absolutely need a sealed set of cans. My perceptions about sealed cans changed the minute I put the HD215's over my ears.Sound Quality:I immediately noticed how great the soundstage is on these phones. They provide a very expanded sense of spatial placement, especially for sealed cans. This was the first drastic improvement over the midsized cans I own.The next thing I noticed is how well presented all the mid and high frequencies are. These phones provide vocals and acoustic arrangments very desireable traits such as great detail and transient repsonse often missing from cheaper phones.Having said all that, I do have to point out the bass is ever so slightly shy. Litterally a 2db parametric bass adjustment makes it perfect for me and improves the linearity of the phones. Honestly the rated frequency response for my Iriver H320 is 20...20,000hz +/- 2db and usually amps shy the bass away when the volume is turned up because it is the most demanding part of the music. So the adjustment may be for the phones and maybe for the MP3 player either way 2db is perfect.A breif note on the bass; although less pesent than many phone out there, the extreme amount of detail in the bass reproduction makes some of my other aforementioned phones almost seem muddy. These babies are clean sounding and responsive to very deep bass notes. I love hearing all the hidden detail in the bass and these phones provide me with the deepest growls and transient response for this price range.Construction:These babies are top notch. Designed with professional use in mind they are built tough. I have heard poeple complain about plastic exteriors but honestly plastics are fast becoming superior to metal products in durability, tensile strenghth, and price. I don't use the swivel on the right earpiece but it does function as stated.Comfort:I place listening fatigue over pressure and weight at all times because I have phones I can keep on my head for hours but I am forced to take breaks due to listening fatigue. Next I consider how comfortable they are when properly adjusted for headsize and seal. I have to say these phones shine in both areas. Well designed lightweight and circumural design does wonders for these phones. I often listen for 4 hours or more at a time.Efficiency:Yes they are 32 ohm and they do have a 112db sensitivity rating but they do like a little extra power than other similarly rated pones. If you have a power saving (lasts more than 10 hours on two AA bateries or worse yet a single AAA) cd or mp3 player you will not get the sound these babies can provide and should look elsewhere. Besides why pay more for the cans than the source which is a common mistake in the marketplace.Remember processing comes from the device NOT the phones, they simply reproduce the signal that is fed into them. Bad source always equals bad sound. A reveiwer below obviosly fell into the misconseption that better phones always provide better sound.Summary:Great dynamics and transient response win out over slightly soft but extremely well defined bass. No listening or comfort fatigue. Great sound attenuation. Exception spatialization and great construction make these phones a very good value.Don't buy if:You want the overemphasized bass other cheaper options will provide. Like the EH250's or the HD212's.You don't need a sealed can. there are far more options in open aire full sized designs from Sennheiser that can sound better. You have a cheap portable source. Get an Iriver Hxxx series or the slighly less good sounding Ipod or Creative Labs for a portable unit. Something that can truly supply a good 10-12mW at 32ohms.Final thoughts:These cans take about 15-20 hours to break in properly so expect them to sound slightly bright and lacking in the bass at first. Once they break in they are warmer sounding and much better balanced.

5Awesome for the specified task!
By B. Jackson
These headphones have an excellent sound stage, they hit crisp highs, clear mids and detailed lows. A note on the low range: if you are looking for Sony's style of overblown (Inaccurate) bass, then look on. Sennheiser is known for overall sound clarity, not EQ'ed bass as is the case with cheaper phones. They will, however, reproduce bass just fine with any proper amp/preamp/mixer. Since these are mainly geared toward DJ use, it isn't that necessary to have heavy bass in your phones, your PAs or Sub should be primarily taking care of that freq range. It frees the phones up for hearing the songs and their cues. I also use them for Monitoring while producing songs, and mixing with them is very accurate. They accurately reproduce the tone and texture of lower bass notes (down to 12hz), something phones with EQ'ed bass have trouble doing. When playing back through my studio monitors(EMU PM5s) and my alternates (Logitech 5500s) there is almost no difference, the only one being through the 5500s, you get the sub "feel".Bottom line: If you're looking for near dead accurate phones on a budget, these will definitely serve that need.

5Great value headphones for the money
By Lew
You know when motoring journalists talk about the on about the Porsche Boxter? Basically, why buy one when you can have a 911?Well these bins are in the same category. It's a case of German engineers 'detuning' something mid-numbingly good to fit into the 'mid-range' of the market.I've been using them for a few weeks, and I have to say that they are excellent. I've had some Sennheiser 'phones before just as back-ups for practice they were the cheapie HD202's which have survived two years loyal service. That's why I've been keen to get more well engineered Sennheiser product. The construction gives me confidence that these 'phones will last many years, the quality is fantastic. But I have to say that only the right cup swivels not both. Although there seems no difference which way round you wear them. The single replacable coiled lead is great. The sound is where I have to mark these bins down, but hardly. At first when they were new I have to say I thought they were a bit bassless, but as the padding has softened and they have worn-in the bass as increased in the mix, so don't judge them to quickly. They don't have the bass that can make the bins dance on your ears like 1210's or V700's but these are mid-range cups.Basically these are great value headphones for the money, but you can get better by buying top of the range. You don't need to as these are perfectly good in a club environment as I use them four times a week as a pro DJ.

5Much better than a manual machine!
By R. Foote
Having the Kitchenaid do all the cranking is great - and the Spaghetti maker actually makes ROUND spaghetti, not just tagliatini type little flat noodles.NOTE for those that say the attachments turn and go around, read the instructions. YOU HAVE to insert if far enough into the mixer so that the little pin on the pasta maker fits into the notch near the tightening screw. IF you don't do that, it will go around and around. The Ravioli maker was a surprise, it is manual, but I guess that makes sense, That is the one I haven't used yet.

5GREAT tool
By D. Wray
I just got done eating raviolis made by this ravioli maker. Due to all the negative reviews I had some trepidation but I always make up my own mind using the products myself. This ravioli maker was E-A-S-Y. None of my raviolis came undone in the water. I do admit I only put 2 raviolis to boil for the 5 minutes as a test, they turned out fine so I threw the whole batch in the water. This machine is fabulous. I thinned the dough out to #5, pricked a hole in each ravioli and it came out delicious. Not a single one burst while cooking. I made a shrimp, cream cheese, ricotta, garlic, cracked pepper and sea salt filling. I added a little cottage cheese as it strings like mozzarella when hot. This is not my first time making pasta but it was my first time using the ravioli maker. I give this machine a 5.

1The ravioli maker is a real piece of junk.
By Being
For regular pasta, this set is a dream. The ravioli maker, though, is a total piece of junk. Different friends and I have attempted to make ravioli with it on four different occasions. It shreds the dough and wastes all the fillings. After I bought it, I went back to read the reviews and there were dozens of reviews attesting to the same problem, not a positive review among them for the ravioli maker. Wonder what happened to all those negative reviews? For rolling out and cutting flat pasta, this is a great set. But, unless you need another door stop, don't order the set that includes the ravioli maker.

After months of frustration trying to find a headboard I liked for my bed, I got creative. This beautiful trellis now serves a a headboard on a twin bed. To make up for the fact it is not as wide as the bed, I glued the two posts, which would have been used to put in ground,to the outside of the trellis posts. I put artificial flowers in them and the effect is a headboard same size as bed. Love it. Had a little concern about screwing through material but a call to the manufacturer cleared it up.
