great for my dogs...other steps I found in stores were not nearly as solid as these...these are solid wood with carpeting over them. The slight side lip adds to their safety & seems to make ambivalent dogs feel more secure using them. I've had this same set for years (on my second set of dogs now!) and I purchased another set in another color for a second bedroom. For the difference in price, these steps are well worth the difference in quality over the ones found in most stores!

Although higher priced than many other option, this is a very high quality, sturdy, well-built product. In fact, this is the second one I have purchased from this company because I was so pleased with the first one. I especially like the fact they offer a variety of colors to match any decor in your home. Highly recommended.
