Fun and also looks cool

He is 27 months old and he rides it at least once a day since then. My son is a very active kid and he rides it pretty brave as you see on the video. You see the base of the horse is very safe, it is very unlikely that the kid would fall down, if my son did not fall down, no kid would. The riding sound is very actual, it sounds like a horse walks on the asphalt. It is a very durable toy that even I tried to ride it and it actually carried me easily. Only one thing happened so far (we own it for almost 1,5 years), one of the handles (well, horse ear I guess) came loose, not a big deal, no safety hazard or something. My husband fixed it anyways and my son still enjoys it! I will keep it, so that my grandchildren will enjoy it in the future. (Oh by the way, glad that we bought it just for $45 when it was on sale on Amazon!!!) I definitely recommend it.

Wonderful quality

This wooden horse is a wonderful find! It was easily assembled and the quality is awesome. My two-year old daughter loves it. It is also very sturdy and stable. She gets rocking on it pretty hard and it rolls up on the rounded base, but has never flipped. I like that it has a gliding motion rather than being on the typical wooden rockers. A highly recommended toy.

The title says it all. Kid loves to ride it (many times every day), I love to look at it. He really gets it going, and always has a giant smile on his face. Couldn't be happier. I'd recommend it to friends (or to folks just passing on the street, for that matter).

Great school bus!

My daughter (2.5 years old) adores this bus! She loves taking the little people for rides in it and the fact that she can open it makes it even more fun. It does come with little seats for some of the people but those don't get used a lot. She enjoys putting things inside of things so this bus fits her way of playing really well.It is a very well made product too. She has dropped it several times and everything is in tact so far. Money well spent.

Big Yellow Bus

My daughter just received this bus for Christmas and it looks like it has a split in the wood, however it does not go all the way through so it may just be the grain of the wood. Anyway, moving past that it is great. The people are cartoon looking figures with bright colored hair which are slightly posable. At this time, possibly because they are new, they are hard to get into the desks- they just don't want to bend that much. Otherwise they are absolutely adorable. My daughter loves pushing the bus around and filling it with the people.

Yellow School Bus

My 2 1/2 year old daughter really likes school buses so she was very excited to get this as a present. She enjoys pushing it around on the floor and singing the "Wheels on the Bus go 'round and 'round," song. Overall I am very happy with this toy--the wood is durable and very smooth. I don't enjoy the gritty surface of raw wood and this bus has a very smooth finish. The little dolls have elastic joints that frustrate my little girl beyond belief sometimes which is why I am giving it a 4/5 for fun. The role play and open-endedness of this toy is somewhat limited with the specificity this toy, so I am giving it a 4/5 for educational value.

Great set

I bought this for my 3 year old son to go along with his other wooden railroad pieces (Brio, Thomas, Melissa & Doug). It's great for imaginative play and storytelling. It's also a good toy for a child who is into all sorts of trucks and their functions. This would make a great b-day gift too!

brio trains and cars

i love these brio cars my twins love the magnetic trains and the cars are very hard to find he lines his hot wheels up trying to make a train and these are perfect i bought all i could find on amazon i bought in total around 10 for my 3 boys for christmas and i can not wait till they see them.i only wish they were sold in the US and not so hard to find.

Great set for toddlers and young children!

This is a perfect little set for a birthday gift. Tuesday morning has is for considerable less than Amazon but still the price is great here. I purchased several of these for birthday gifts and all the children have just loved them. Brio is a durable brand but does have more plastic pieces that the Thomas and Friends brand that is mainly wooden. That is the only fall back for me.
