Nice, not great.

Just got the watch. Nice looking, but there are design flaws.The LCD screen is very dim. Little contrast. Hard to see in daylight, very hard in dim light.The LCD back-light is pathetic. Barely helps at all even in complete darkness.The crown to set the time of the analog display is too touchey and too easy to pull out. Pulling it out resets the LCD and turns the analog watch off.Too many silly flaws. I would not buy it again.

So she made me search the Internet for more than an hour to find her another just like it ... Found it on Amazon ( go figure, huh? ) ... It's a shameless knock-off of a very popular Rolex style ... Best Watch I Ever Had

I've had this watch for 14 years. It was a good watch and I always thought it was very attractive and reliable. It was stolen on a recent vacation. I've been looking for a new watch but just can't seem to find one I like better than this that doesn't cost near $200 or more. So, I'm purchasing the identical watch as a replacement. I'm hoping the quality will be as good as the one I purchased 14 years ago.And yes, it is a shameless ripoff of a Rolex design. So don't glance quickly at your employers watch and say "Hay! We have the same watch!" like I did. She seemed to be very offended that I thought she might lower her self to ware a Pulsar. Ha Ha Ha!

Strong Watch...Weak Alarm

This watch has a great presence and performance...from the flight deck to the board room. The alarm however is quite faint,a distant chime, and with the smallest amount of ambient noise can easlily be drowned out. I use watch alarms as prompts for meetings, to return phone calls within the promised time frame and as a wake-up for early morning workouts...and the alarm on this watch is for the most part useless. Although I love everything else in regards to the watch if you are looking for a functional alarm...look elsewhere. I have had watches with the same waterproof performance as this watch with far more alarming alarms.

very nice looking watch. I love It. You should get one

When first I wanted to decide which watch to get, I got confused btween the Blue one and the Black one which I got. Then I went for the Black, and it is exeptionally good looking for me and goes very will with my Bulky wrist. I love it's color the most and the precsion of it. Mind you the chorno alarm is some how faint but works quite well. The only critism I have for it the the black band like color on the steel chain, this some how is only plated on and get scratched very easily, because I use this watch every day, I think it will fade away in a year or so. But the watch is very lovely, you should get one your self and get that very nice replays from friends and family.

Nice - but with questions

Very beautiful watch - upon first impressions my husband loved the watch, weight, features, etc. However, and we're still currently looking into this, the second hand seems to get caught up in the same place as it goes around - leading us to believe it may be defective, as it has actually stopped there as well. We are looking into whether this is normal for this watch or a feature we're not aware of, but instincts say the second hand should be more fluid if it were really a high quality watch.

An outstanding multimedia solution from Sony!

My display is being put to dual use in a Windows XP / Macintosh OS X setup. It works greats in both environments. The picture is crisp and fluid at the same time, meaning that text looks sharp while pixilation is indiscernible when viewing high quality digital photos.With the PC: The display is set at 1280 x 768 resolution and is truly excellent.With the Mac: I use this display with my Apple iBook. Initially this caused a problem with the fact that the iBook does not output in widescreen format. I downloaded a fix to my iBook called "Screen Spanning Doctor" at http://www.rutemoeller.com/mp/ibook/ibook_e.html (WARNING, do not select the "clamshell" option during initial setup as this will not allow your iBook to properly dissipate heat during use and can cause serious damage to your iBook). Now I can display my iBook in widescreen at 1280 x 768 resolution.The truly awesome feature of this display however is that I do not have to switch any cables around. You can hook up a computer with an appropriate video card to the DVI connection port, a laptop to the standard VGA port, cable TV to the 75-ohm VHF/UHF coaxial port, standard or Super Video VCR or camcorder to the Standard/S-Video port, and your HD receiver / Satellite receiver / Progressive-Scan DVD Player to the Component video port. You can easily switch between all of them using the supplied Sony infrared remote control (RM-333). There is even Picture-in-Picture so you can watch TV while your working on the computer without over-taxing your computers processor and video card.Sound quality is very good using the three internal speakers (2 stereo & a sub-woofer) if set to SRS WOW.Overall I am very pleased with this display.

great monitor/TV

We bought this monitor/TV for our daughter to use with her Sony Vaio notebook in her dorm room. We thought it was great to have the TV included so there is one less thing in the room. It has by far the best quality display that we have seen on this type of monitor/TV, and we did a lot of shopping around before choosing this one. She can display one screen on the monitor (e.g., an internet source) while working on another screen on the notebook (e.g., a Word document), so it is a great set up. She can even add the distraction of a TV program by using the PIP function. It's really amazing.

A really good buy!

This tv/monitor is excellent, especially considering the relatively low price. It looks great too. The PC resolution/picture is nice! The TV piture is great! I have not yet seen the HDTV but will very soon.The controls could be a little better. I would have liked the controls on the side of the monitor to have direct access to the 4 input sources like the remote has. The way it is now, you have to flip through each source to get to the right one if you use the controls on the monitor -- and that takes time because the sources don't seem to switch very fast. I also wish the remote had a one-touch key to move the placement of the PIP window. That has to be done using the menu (a few levels down). I like having the PIP window on the TV source while I am working on my PC, but I constantly run into the need to change the window location on the fly and it's not very simple to do.

do NOT follow the instructions with regards to drilling the mounting holes -- my sheet said to use a 5/16" drill bit, that hole was way too big for the screws supplied.

Bug shield review

I purchased this for my kid's Mazda B3000. Went on well. I was a little hesitant to drill the hood but was very careful. The item comes with some little washers that go between the bug shield and screw. Things went well on all the screws but for some reason the last screw I put in actually made an indent on the outside of the hood. It is under the bug shield but I wanted to make mention of it. Strange as all the screws are the same size/length. Who knows, even though I thought I was lined up evenly on both sides I may have been off an eighth of an inch and that area was just a bit close to the outside of the hood. Just something to be aware of when you put this on. It was helpful to have someone help with the shield when pre-fitting it as it makes it easier to mark where to drill.

One pound of live weight equals one cubic inch of cremains. 3" = 3 cubic inches 7" = 87 cubic inches 11" = 205 cubic inches For example; A 175 pound person, would yield 175 cubic inches of cremains, which would fit into a 10" urn. A 35 pound terrier will yield 35 cubic inches of cremains, and would fit into a 6" urn.

Cremation Urn

I am very pleased with this tiny urn. It will hold my share of my beloved mother's ashes very nicely. It is just the right size to sit beside her picture in my curio cabinet and be safe from grandchildren and pets knocking it over. It is very beautiful and well designed and made. Beautiful!

This urn is absolutely beautiful. I had read some of the negative feedback and was worried that the urn wouldn't stand up perfectly straight, but it does. I love that it's a solid piece of marble with an extremely secure opening at the bottom. It is exactly what I'd hoped it would be, and my mother would have loved it.

Fits my '05 MDX

Not sure why Lund/Amazon doesn't sell one for the '05 MDX, but I bought this one and it fits, kinda. Looks nice, shipped fine, and sits securely on the hood. Only 4 holes to drill, hardest part was layout as the profile isn't a flat line. Drill the holes with a 3/32 bit, and don't over torque the screws. I say fits "kinda" due to the underside of the hood--the "best" places to mount aren't where the prefab tabs are. I ended up spacing mine off the front of the hood by 1/2", and was able to find a good enough place to drill. Installed in about an hour.

Substantial Weight for a Rememberance
