Great off road lights

These are great lights. Just what you would expect out of KC. I have mine set up and get about a mile reflective range. I do wish that they had a good blue bulb for them. I tried several blue bulbs (incl. KC) and was disappointed. They did not hold a beam pattern well. Leave them stock and you will have an awesome set up.

Great Lights

Nicly made of quality materials. I give it in reality 4-1.2 stars. The 1/2 star is because the lights are NOT designed to be mounted on a curved (tube) surface. They will mount there, but tech specs should have noted this issue or they should have included an adapter to mate with a curved surface.

Another great KC Product

These lights work great. We have been doing more and more night jeep trails and geocaches and with that comes the need for more light. I picked up these lights and must say that I have no regrets!! They housing is very sturdy, the wiring is good, the switch is not the old fashioned toggle junk and the output is great. I am sure you can get some others that are much more brighter but in all honesty these work fantastic! Well worth the money and I will be getting a few more for other directions ;)

They call them daylighters for a reason.

KC developed the KC Daylighter in the late 70's. This product as you can see has survived well. The Daylighter (DL) series has outlasted any other design of off road lighting by far, as a matter of fact company's like "Hella" and "PIAA" all have models fashioned after the rugged and durable DL. For anyone skeptical about buying this product just remember that KC offers a 23 year (Yes 23 years) guarantee on this and many of their other products. That will more than likely out last the vehicle they are bolted on. KC always imitated never duplicated!

Excellent product!

I purchased these after having tried many cheaper options. These have performed exceptionally well. They do not rust (as do the lower priced items similar to these) and they cast a very bright beam of light for offroad use. I can highly recommend these!

Bright lights

Bought these lights to mount on a 2004 Colorado bull bar and have loved them since the day I put them on, they are way brighter than the brights of my headlights and they are great for off roading. they are a pencil beam light and will shine as far as 300 yards mounted on my truck.

Seems well built

I bought this unit used but like new condition. This is a havy duty unit compared to the others I looked at. Welds are good china level quality, limited weld fill but good pentration. As long as the parts were tight together prior to weld things should hold. You can definitely buy cheaper ones today.

Very Good Buy

Fast shipping, looked great, like leather from a distance in soft light. Minimal creases from being folded in packaging. Generous fit. If it helps you, this was bought for a man who was worried about it being too tight and hates exchanging so we bought the XL size.Compare his dimensions to the product chart and my comments to see if what size your man would be best for. It's a little big in the shoulders, one inch too long on the arms for a man that's 5'9", 220?lbs. A size 42 or 44 accross the back and a size 44 in the waist with an shirt arm length of 31/32.Important!: Make sure that you open the package immediately and air it out, because the chemical smell is bad and long lasting. It'll take about 3 weeks for it to mostly dissapate. However, if you're in a last minute rush for Halloween, you'll be mostly outside in the breeze and your nose isn't that sensitive (for indoor use), then I'd say buy it.Would I buy this jacket again if I had to do it all over again? YES!
