Excellent quality product, fast delivery...

The product is of high quality, and has a rich full flavor.Delivery was unexpectedly fast.The only negative I would like to see addressed is that the product is packed in a heavy paper sack. While this may be commonplace, a significant improvement would be to have an inner liner of a heavy weight, food grade, plastic bag that can be sealed after each time you open the bag. Could be either a zip-lock bag or a twist tie closure... doesn't make any difference... just need a practical way to preserve the freshness of the product and keep the bugs out of it.This is a health and spoilage issue... 50#'s of oatmeal is a lot of product and needs to either be repackaged by the consumer in small food grade bags or containers (very expensive and hard to find}. I am a single senior who likes to buy staple goods in bulk to save money and provide food security. Long term storage is a big issue with people like me.Thom (Missouri)

I'm happy with the quality of the product and the price. Like the other reviewer, I would prefer if there was a plastic liner to preserve freshness. However, I will continue to buy this product regardless as it is quality oatmeal at a good price.Edit: I'm on my 4th bag, quality continues to be high.

Awesome for snokeling, without a snorkel

There are 3 sizes (that I know of) available, this one (that I have several of) is the LARGEST one. This one allows your entire body to stay completely out of the water if you so choose. You can be the only one in Waikiki paddling with the jellies, while everyone else (including the lifeguards) sneer and jealously jeer at you.It has 4 separate areas, 3 are meant to be inflated, one (the window) filled with water. What's nice is the body of the raft has a separately inflated center section, and outer hull, and a window support section. There are also 2 holes right next to the window to allow water to drain out.I would strongly recommend NOT filling the window area with water. It becomes much too heavy. Just leave this area unfilled, trust me. I would also recommend using a leg or arm lanyard (i.e. a boogie board or surfboard leash) so you could jump off, and tow the raft behind you as a security blanket. The window isn't quite as clear, but it makes the handling much better. Just watch current and winds, as with anything inflatable, it'll drift!Comfortable to paddle lying prone, on land as a beach lounge, watching TV or playing vid games on a hard floor, or even as casual seating on the beach...you can even sleep on this. Except for the uncomfortable (and HARD!!!) window area that seems to scratch easily (use a microfiber cloth to wipe it, NOT a regular cloth towel), everything about this is just awesome engineering and ergonomics, piled into one inflatable! AWESOME!

Better than it looks

I got this float for some kids to use, but it held my 250 lb completely out of the water for several hours in the ocean. The view was crystal-clear, and it was a lot more fun than I expected. Remember the sunscreen.

Sturdy and Inexpensive

This mount is a solid piece of hardware. Professionally packaged with all the necessary hardware. Easy to install instructions for a t-bar ceiling.I did a lot of research and discovered there are many vendors offering seemingly the identical mount (made by Premier Mounts), but at a much higher cost and sometimes are bundled with other projector mounting stuff. My suggestion is buy the appropriate mount kit for your specific projector along with the 1-1/2" NPT pipe that connects the projector to the ceiling mount. You'll come out money ahead (and the big plus: it will actually fit your projector!). In my case I first bought my Optoma TH1060p projector then found the "Optoma Universal Projector Ceiling Mount BM-5001U" and matching 1-1/2" pipe adapter: "Optoma Technology BM-5004A Adjustable Extension Column (6 to 9 Inches)". All the pieces worked together perfectly.

Projector Ceiling Mounts AAA+++

Hands down this is an excellent sturdy product. Easy to install with all the necessary hardware included to securely mount a small to mid size video projector to a drop ceiling. The mount plate is fully adjustable and neatly secures above the ceiling tile with 4 screws. The main slide plate for the drop kit (pole or pipe) comes with lock washers and wing nuts for proper placement, and there's more than enough cable to stabilize the mount to the above rafters to meet code. This mount is built so solid, it can tow a tuck, yet is light enough to do the job it was designed for. Words of advice: This is a ceiling tile mount kit only. Although it built well, it is NOT designed to be used for supporting overly heavy objects (like large flat screens or CRT TVs..etc). Those are items a drop ceiling alone cannot possibly support! Plus, you'll still need to get the proper projector mount kit from your projector's manufacturer! Overall, it's a safe product to use if installed correctly to code, and without cutting corners. Easy to read instructions too.Rickster

Great quality, decent battery lifespan

I bought this unit in 2006 and it served me quite well for about 5 years. It is better than your average UPS because it detects abnormalities in the power and can "boost" or "buck" what is there without fully switching to battery mode. I have seen it do both. It also switches on/off fast enough that I don't even hear blips in my computer's sound. I also seem to remember it being marketed as producing sine waves, but I can't find that detail anywhere now.In about 2011, I noticed the battery life was getting quite short, and recently any slight power fluctuation would cause the entire unit to turn off completely. I pulled the batteries and tested them, and they won't hold a charge at all. They cost anywhere from $17 to $33, and the unit requires 2. I'm in the process of getting new batteries, and I expect the unit itself is still working fine.I suppose 5 years is fair for an AGM battery, but I also notice they are connected in series, so the UPS is working with 24V and can't individually float-charge the batteries. (I think the lifespan would be better with individual monitoring, or if the UPS ran off 12V internally off one larger battery.)

does what it should... sort of

I have not had to push the limits of time of this backup, but it seems fine. I tested it for a few minutes... I have tried and not been successful in getting the computer to "see" it so it can auto shut down the computer if I am not present during a power outage. Not sure what the problem is and don't have the time or interest in trying to pursue it via tech support. It hooks up via serial cable. I would think a modern appliance would use USB and be more reliable. I am running Win XP Pro.I do like it though because of the size (time it's supposed to run on battery power) for the relatively low price.

AWESOME!

We have owned our unit for about 5 yrs. and the battery just now needs replacing. This is an awesome deal for this workhorse of a machine! It has never failed us and saved us many times when the lights were out. I highly recommend this product for anyone. We would buy another unit if needed for another area of our home.

What a wonderful device!

I've had this UPS for 5 years before the battery died. I bought a new one because I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I bought a new one because it died. The only problem is that when the power goes out it makes a loud screeching noise when its on battery mode that you cant seem to turn off. I've been woken up many times by black outs or brown outs because of the loud noise. It also weighs almost a ton, and has such an old connection to connect it to your computer that I've never been able to actually use the connection on any computers I've used it with, so that makes the monitoring software useless. Still, its a wonderful device that really lasts. Its a great thing to have in an emergency, and its great for protecting your computer from power surges and power outages!

Replaced a ES1000C model that fried from water.

I use this UPS to back up my on demand gas water heater (who wants to take a cold shower?) Unit works great with the water heater and gives over an hour of back-up time. I've also used this unit for computer use and it also works well. Batteries are easy to replace when they get to end of life. If I had not spilled water on the old unit (releasing magic smoke) then I would still be using it today. The old unit (ES1000C) was over 5 years old with 2 battery replacements.

Best purchase all year

I purchased this pack online after researching many brands. The price ultimately sold me on this particular back pack and I am SO glad I went with this one! I was kinda expecting a pack that looked "cheaper" than the others because it was so much less. (The other one I was debating upon was $170) Also, the previous reviews made me nervous about how it would fit but they either had big problems figuring out the straps or just never wore a back pack before because I had NO problem with this. I am over 6 feet tall and on the large size for a woman so I usually have issues with things fitting my body size. I have a long torso and this pack actually fits me the way it is supposed to! I also have a chest larger than Pamela Anderson's and I have no problem buckling the chest strap :o) I don't know why the other person had such a problem because I still have room to tighten it as it doesn't even go over my chest but above it. So not only does it fit great but it looks fabulous and really well made! Also, the stand is very easy to collapse and extend. There is no button to push; it simply pushes in or pulls out and is held by tension in the stand arm. My son is 9 months, 25 lbs and about 28 inches tall and he fits great. The first day I had it I took it out on a 2 mile hike and had NO soreness or awkward feelings in my step. I am just so in love with this pack! AND the wind shield is GREAT and not included on many models that are $100 more than this Chicco! The only thing that is lame is the bag on the back of the pack. It's unsafe since anyone could unzip it if you are walking in a crowd and steal your stuff. Not to mention that you can't reach it without taking the pack off but you DO have the option of wearing it as a fanny pack so that's good AND you could use it to store the wind visor thingy when you don't need it. It's really a non-issue but I felt I should include just one con :o) Buy this pack! You won't regret it!!!

I'm 4'11" and it fits me just fine

I have been wanting a backpack carrier for some time - one with a metal stand so it would be easier to get my son in and out of. I finally broke down and bought a new one after not being able to find a used one. I purchased this one because it seemed to be reasonably priced and it got good reviews. I was a little nervous about it since some of the people that were petite said that it didn't fit them and that it was too big. I'm 4'11" and it fits me just fine so I am not sure what they are talking about. I also didn't have any problems with it being too tight in the chest area too and I would say I'm a pretty average size. Some of the reviews said that they need someone else to help them with the metal stand - I have not experienced that either. My son is almost 17 months old and he is about 25 pounds and I can take him off of my back and open up the stand by myself. It takes a bit of practice and some upper body strength but after carrying around a child in my arms for over 16 months I would say that I've built up my strength to handle an extra 5 or 6 pounds that comes from the carrier. Right now I'm just starting off on short walks around the neighborhood - it does take a while to build up your muscles but it is comfortable and works great for me. I love that it comes with the sun shade and the pockets that attach to it as well. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and can't wait to hit the trails and lose this baby weight!

Chicco Smart - Baby Carrier Backpack

Great product for its price.After reading so many negative reviews regarding the fit and feel of this product I was extremely hesitant to order it. But then I realized that 90% of the U.S. is a bit out of shape and that these products are tailored to the average somehow healthy/fit body (plus/minus a couple of sizes).So I order it and got it a few days ago.Bottom line: It is the family's new toy. Keep in mind that I have a 15 & 13 year old kids and between them, my wife and I, we love carrying our 1yr old baby princess.Keep in mind that I'm 6ft, 200lbs, semi-athletic figure, and have experience with the old style baby carrier from the 1990's (I'm also in the military). In comparison this Chicco is a Cadilac. Perfect fit for the parent and so far, no complaints from the baby; she actually enjoys it more than her walker. My spouse is 5ft, low 100 lbs., son is 5'10", 150lbs, daughter 5ft, 100lbs., and they all enjoy it.For those of you who have not experienced carrying a baby in a backpack style carrier, remember, you are carrying 20-40lbs on your back. After a few hours, this weight is a bit challenging even for a seasoned soldier. So I suggest taking breaks and/or turns with other family members.
