Great Cymbal for for price!

Great Cymbal for use in misc. percussion section. Good quality sound. I use it in my percussion section for cymbal rolls with mallets and for emphasizing cymbal crashes with our drummer. Good value for the price. After all it's a Zidjian!

Great for the money

In purchasing,I was looking for value more than an esthetic. My needs are more for playing for my own amusement than for a particular performance venue. This Crash cymbal was a great value and it is still a Zildjian. It works great for everything I need.However as someone who has played for a long time, there are crash cymbals that will give better sounds based upon the requirement but will also cost a lot more. As I noted earlier, for my needs value and sound had to balance.

I LIKE THIS CYMBAL A LOT

I bought this cymbal after listening to pretty much all of the various Zildjian crash cymbal sound samples on Zildjian.com ... the price on Amazon was great ... shipping was also very reasonable as I live in Australia . At first listening to the cymbal in a live situation at home I thought it had quite an audible overtone to it but on recording it I am very happy with the sound ... it has great attack with a very clear, bright tone and good sustain with a nice wash ... it also sounds good as an alternative ride cymbal with a nice bell ring and works very well with my other cymbals and my Sonor kit. All in all I am very pleased with my choice and recommend the cymbal. It's probably not a professional drummers choice of instrument but then I am not a professional drummer ... I am however a seasoned musician/composer of more than 40 years ( 22 years as a professional guitarist/singer ) so I know what I am listening to.

A Great Sounding Crash Cymbal!

The crash and clarity of this Cymbal was just what my husband was looking for to replace a 'not so good one' that came with his original drum set. It has a super nice tone and resonates for a long time unless you suppress it. The price on Amazon was very good compared to what several retail stores offer it at. Highly recommend Earplugs for both the drummer and listener which is a no brainer!

Cheap aluminum

The arch is cheap aluminum, not wrought iron as I expected. I'll take the hit on not researching well enough, but folks looking at this beware. It's kind of flimsy and we get a lot of windstorms around here, not sure how it is going to hold up.

It is rather flimsy aluminum but I knew that going in from other reviews. I have a good place for it where it will not be in danger of toppling or leaning. It looks good where we placed it and I am satisfied.

adequate for the price

You are not going to get good quality wrought iron at this price. However, this metal arch is good for temporary use or where it can be attached to a fence or wall for added support. It would not support a heavy climbing rose out in the open. But if attached as noted above it will support the weight just not much sail effect from high winds. The design is basic and fits a lot of different styles. It is very easy assemble. I would drill holes at the unions and add some extra screws for added stability. You can use re-bar stakes with hose clamps for added strength too....enjoy...it's a nice arch for the money.

Couldn't live without it

This item is everything and more than advertised. I've used mine for everything - checking heat vents in my home, temperature in a sun room (160 degrees), stove top, oven, fridge etc.I can't even sneak it out of my kitchen drawer, for our kitty is hooked on the infrared beam, which makes for a rather expensive cat toy!I couldn't be more pleased.

No frills, no documentation, but it works

This arrived in a plain (completely undecorated) box, and essentially no documentation at all. It works, as far as I can tell, though calibration of the "emissivity" parameter is a mystery. It feels fairly solid, and it's pretty quick to react (a second or less to a temperature readout that's updated about once every half-second while you hold the trigger). Temperature readings seem as accurate as I need them to be off most surfaces - shiny stainless steel being an exception (reads way low).This is the only device of its kind I've ever used, be aware.

I ordered the Coleman Cable Contractor version because it was Made in the USA as pictured on the product picture. Instead I was shipped one of their Pro-Power versions that was Made in China found in this link: http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Cable-Tri-Source-Outdoor-Extension/dp/B0004VUCHQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1355982075&sr=1-1&keywords=03482 .Both are from Coleman Cable, but just be aware that you aren't get the "Contractor" version of the product Made in the USA, but rather the cheaper version Made in China.

Awesome

I use this as a gigging musician. There's not always power where you need it in some clubs, and this cord really helps me out. It's a heavy enough gauge I don't worry about it choking off current to my amp or pedalboard. It's bright yellow (and the ends light up) so I always can see it even in crappy lighting, and the light on the end lets me know I still got power. It has been a useful tool!

Bi-Fold Ramp

I like the ramp very much although I had to make and extra removable plate on the bottom end of the ramp. My disability 3 wheel scooter's back wheelie wheels would catch onto the start of the bottom of the ramp preventing the back wheels from making conntact with the ramp. I also had to add 2 strips of metal screen in order for the back wheels to pass over the bars on the ramp since the wheels were a little too small to pass ver them. It worked out great and I now can load up my scooter on the back of my truck and take it with me anywhere. The price was right so it all turned out good in the end. I wish in the future you all would make a low priced ramp for people who are disabled like myself to be able to purchase without having to modify it to work for 3 wheel scooters with smaller tires. Thank you.
