IMPORTANT: LP530s try to trick you about your lamp life!

InFocus LP 530s have planned lamp failure - but you can get around it!To those who own an LP530 and are looking for another lamp after about 1800 hours of use. You may have seen "Change Lamp" messages for a few times, then one day the lamp flickers for half a second at power-up, then nothing but a red flashing light on top.Uh oh - I guess I need a new lamp. NO YOU DON'T! InFocus, in their "put the customer last" design attitude, has decided to DELIBERATELY TURN OFF a perfectly good lamp at 1800 hours of use, even if it still works. Here's how you can get around that (this only works once the timer hits 1800 hours - I've tried to reset it early, but it has no effect):1) Turn it off and unplug the power. Flip it over.2) If you want to take the lamp out and blow the projector out with compressed air, it's very easy to do. I would do that periodically anyway.3) If you don't see any obvious blow-out of the lamp, RE-INSTALL IT. Power it up and hold down VOLUME - and SOURCE at the same time for 5 seconds. On top of the unit, it's the TOP ARROW and LEFT ARROW in the 4-button grid below the MENU button.4) Bingo, the lamp timer will reset and you will probably get a fully functional projector again, WITHOUT having to spend $400 on a replacement.5) I'd buy a replacement bulb anyway to have it around in case it really does fail, but if you run the projector with ECO MODE turned on, your lamp should last significantly longer than InFocus' artificial 1800 hour time limit. Just keep resetting it every 1800 hours until it fails, try not to move it or jostle it much, clean it with compressed air periodically, and run it in ECO MODE for best lamp life.Hope that helps!

Works like a champ!!! The instructions sent along with the bulb were perfect!!! easy to understand and I was able to install the bulb in a matter of minutes and have been enjoying movies ever since...:-)

I own quite a few wind chimes and have them in my backyard. I received this wind chime as a present and feel it should be renamed a "wind organ". The sound is so pleasant, I am tempted to take down all my other wind chimes just so I can hear this one alone. I am sure that in time I will buy another one to compliment this one. It is like no other wind chime I have heard.

Beautiful Sound

I purchased this Alto as a Christmas gift for my wife. The minimalist, sculptural appearance is what caught my eye but it was the sound that really sold me. Music of the Spheres claims to be the "Stradivarius of wind chimes". This is a statement of fact not boasting. The clarity of the notes is the best you will find and the sustain is remarkable. On their web site you can listen to the various sizes and tunings that are available. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny.

These look classy and sound great. The curved plate can also be easily removed when it is very windy and you want to save your ears. We are quite pleased.

Best camping/travel cookware I've used

I'm an active cook with restaurant experience. When car camping or tailgaiting I've been frustrated with camping cookware. Its either intended for backpacking and too small and lightweight, or the heavy cast iron pieces that are totally unresponsive. I purchased this Cuisinart set and waited to use it a few times before providing review. Basically- its a great set. Its very similar to Cuisinart's Chef's Classic Series except with detachable handles. This means the bases of all the pieces are have an aluminum core and are clad with stainless steel. This provides a responsive piece of cookware that's heavy enough to minimize the hot spots commonly get on a portable stove. The sides aren't clad and while I want this in my home cookware, for camping, no problem. There is plenty of capacity and having two detachable handles makes the set more flexible. Note this isn't lightweight cookware. If you're backpacking you'll still need your little set, but if you're car camping, RVing or tailgating this is set offers a great bang for the buck. Oh yes, plenty of capacity for large meals.

Set a perfect fit!

I wanted to depart from toxic non-stick ware, wanted high quality, high performance, without a lot of weight, and got it all. I got it for everyday use, but this will be an essential in our Airstream! My only regret is that just after I purchased it, it was offered on another site for half the price! Still, it is definitely worth what I paid for it, and I can whole-heartedly recommend it.

Fantastic RV cookware!

If you need cookware for an RV or small cabin or apartment, this is the highest quality set I've found. The only way they'd get a fifth star would be to add a non-stick frypan, but this is probably picking nits. Everything on this set is of the finest quality; it even ships in a soft cotton bag to protect the set while in transit. Great stuff!

It is easy to assemble, the color is better in person than in the picture, and it's comfortable to sit on for extended periods. It should meet or exceed your basic work chair expectations. It did mine and it's only 60 bucks.

Cute gnome!

This is a really cute puppet. Beware that it's not very tall. Your hand fits into the upper part of his body only, so you can move his head and arms but not his legs.He's durable; his clunky feet are made of leather, his beard is fuzzy but it doesn't shed, and his clothes are made well. His hat doesn't come off and his legs are permanently bent.I got this puppet just because I like gnomes--it would make a great gift for others who also like gnomes!

Great for Creativity!

I gave this puppet to my 2 year old grandson only to have it appropriated by his 3 year old elder sister who renamed him "Grumpy Wizard." Our boy was initially scared of the slighly grumpy face but soon warmed to him. Our girl has made this character the center of all her puppet play, having him plot (unsuccessfully) against the Prince, Princess, Goat, Sheep, Cat and all the other wonderful Folkmanis puppets the both of them have. The amount of creative fun and active pleasure generated by this line of puppets is simply astonishing! By all means get your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews some Folkmanis. Way better than passive cartoon watching or canned commercial toy adventures. Folkmanis is a treasure trove for the imagination, motor skills and verbal development. I had a great time too!

As every other Folkmanis puppet, this one is splendid and delicate.I have not yet experienced it with my young students but know for sure; considering what they do with the present ones; that I'll have to carefully put it in the right hand. Great Shark Toy

This was a replacement. My son had this toy previously. The original lasted 6 years through daily play, outdoor excursions, and machine washes. I only replaced it because the stuffing was looking flat, and the stomach was dingy. This toy is my son's best friend. We love it!
