I use these flags for corners, goals, and obstacles in my soccer practices. They're good quality. The spring base is great. The only problem I have is that there's no good way to stick the flag into hard soil. The base doesn't have a good foothold (it's about a 2" radius around the base stake with the flag in the center and if you jump on it like a pogo stick, it might work). So these flags work best in soft ground and that's true with any stake. It is a good product, so I give it a 4 star recommendation.
