This combo works well. However the range of the keyboard is short. I had to place the reciever within 3 feet of the keyboard for it to communicate. Also the keyboard legs are a little short so it lays too flat. Otherwise it performs flawlessly.

The keyboard has a light touch and does not skip keypresses or double up. The mouse is smooth and the buttons have a light, easy touch. The mouse wheel is easy to use, and dosen't scroll on accident. It is also 3d (scrolls left/right as well as up/down).All buttons are programmable, including the keyboard's programmable F-keys and buttons. The radio channels are encrypted so curious people can't snoop the keypresses or mouse movements (not enabled by default). And, it's of higher quality than Microsoft mice and keyboards, which are often defective or break.The keyboard encryption is not enabled by default. You have to enable it with the included software.When I tried to charge the mouse for a full cycle for the first time, as recommended, I became too impatient to wait for the light to go off, because it was taking more than 4 hours and I needed to use my computer. This did not harm the mouse's functionality (and it reports as having a good charge in the software) so I'm still enthusiastically giving the combo a 5 star rating.On first impression, this desktop is much much better than previous cordless desktops that I've had, and cheaper, too.If you need longer range than a few feet, get a bluetooth keyboard. Logitech makes some great higher-end models with bluetooth that have extraordanary range.

This set is a great value. I loved getting rid of all the cords on my desktop for not much more than the price of a cordless mouse. Mouse seemed a little fast at first, but I've gotten used to it, keyboard is normal in every way. I recharge the mouse once in awhile, it keeps going with no problems.
