i have not ever had a problem with any le creuset pieces. they do EVERYTHING better! i saute vegetables and brown the meat on the stovetop then add rest of ingredients and move the french oven to bake in a slow [275] oven for several hours. great for meat dishes! this was my first piece in the dune color and it mixed great with my flame and kiwi pieces.

I love Le Creuset! I have the 2 quart and 6 quart size French Ovens, so decided to splurge on the 3 1/2 quart size. Although they are expensive, they are well worth the money!
