I am 71 years old have worn Hi Test Safety Shoes for the last 47 years and have tried many others, but returned them all because they were inferior, after a few days. This pair of Caterpillar Remington shoes are much better in all ways and I need to get a pair for my 20 year old son. They are stouter built, more comfortable, easier to walk in, have much more traction, had no pain breaking them in, are much easier to put on, they are attractive to others and I am proudly smiling when I am putting them on. I wore out my HI Test shoes in six months, but I doubt if I will ever wear these out. I own two Caterpillar machines, one weighs 60,000 pounds and the other weighs 88,000 pounds, so I work hard, am extremely strong and these shoes have gotten a hard workout already, but show no signs of wear.
