We started raising chickens. Now my daughter can play with them inside too. They are very realistic and good quality. When she's done with them I will save them for the next generation.

UPDATED REVIEW: Oh MY Goodness! "BJK Direct" has upped the price gouging to $59.99 !! Playmobil suggests the retail value at $10.99 (and you can find them on Amazon for that price, people). Don't put up with this nonsense! Buy your kid five (5) new Playmobil sets with your money instead of being a sucker for this.Same comments as below, but the price is higher now.* * *This complaint is directed at "Funky Toys", who have the audacity to offer the Playmobil Henhouse (+farmer) for US$49.99. (Please note that this complaint is not directed at Amazon).OVER 400% of the manufacturer's suggested price.* * *I love all things Playmobil and so does my child, but when the 2012 Playmobil Catalogue lists an almost identical item at US$ 10.99, one has to ask what is going on. Not even their free shipping should cost $39!Now, to be (somewhat) fair, the Henhouse listed in the catalogue is slightly different - it doesn't come with the farmer, the eggbasket or the bucket.BUT: unless the farmer, basket and bucket are worth US$39.00, we have a problem. (The inclusion of the farmer, bucket and basket should be an additional $5 or so over list price).Playmobil is one of the pricier toys, but for $50, you can usually get a really good and complete set - like half the farm.* * *If you want to buy this toy through Amazon, search for: Playmobil Henhouse 6207. I saw one vendor offer it for $15, with free shipping. I am not associated with any them, but I hate supporting price gougers, and this is ridiculous.

we have a flock of chickens here on our farm and my grandkids love this set. They combine it with the raccoon set trying to steal away the chickens and have alot of pretend fun.
