So far so good, but heavy

Received the ladder about 10 days ago and have lugged it around the house for small jobs. It is heavy, no way around it. This is the Type I ladder, which weighs about 5 lbs less than the IA. Ladder is very sturdy, have not put it through its paces yet, only used it as large step ladder, no use for extension ladder on my property. I have watched the video that came with ladder and people on tv are opening and closing with ease. I have not found that to be 100% true, it takes some effort and pushing on the hinges to get them open and then snap in place. Bought the ladder through Amazon and Ladder Mart shipped it to me. It was on time, but might have not been a new one, a little dinged and scratched, their customer service was courteous and responsive. When I emailed them during working hours, they emailed back within a few hrs. A good experience

this ladder can cover any situation that comes up. used it to replace vaulted ceiling smoke alarm batteries and even get stuff off the roof. it was solid as an "A" ladder and fully extended. worth every penny and will never need another ladder.

When Someone Extra Comes to Dinner...

I bought a pair of these chairs because I sometimes have more guests than the six chairs in my dining room will accommodate. They're nicely finished and nicely upholstered. Most people don't even notice that it's a folding chair. The color "in person" seems a little lighter than the photo, but that's OK. I'll be buying more, and a folding table so I can feed a serious crowd. This got four stars instead of five only because folding and unfolding isn't really intuitive. Or maybe I'm just a little slow.

Very nice chair!

We have had 2 of this chair for over 10 years of everyday use and has worked well. Had to replace upholstering at one point, but that was very easy.These are our everyday kitchen chairs. We liked them so much that looked for more and found them here on Amazon. Same style and color as the previous ones purchased at Costco. Delivery was quick and now have 4 new ones to match the old ones.Nice clean simple design but still classy. Works with any medium-dark wood furniture. Folds up flat if you need to for storage.

I ordered this item to complement a set of card table chairs that I use for dining as they are convenient, sturdy, go with the table, & look good.The item is made by Stakmore, a company specializing in folding chairs, among others, and retailed by Wayfair (great service) via Amazon.The new chairs are also cherry, but appear to be lighter in color than my older ones. They are as sturdy, though chunkier-looking. The fabric seat is thicker & more comfortable than the older vinyl covered one, though I wish there were more colors (especially black)other than the off-white offered. Perhaps because the urn back appears to be the least popular model - though I think it is the most elegant.All in all a good product for the price.

Nice Hitch

Installation was fairly easy. The instructions were pretty good too. My car didn't have the side holes they talked about but Hammer and Anvil fixed the carriage bolts enough to slip in through the slots just fine. My Thunderbird looks odd with the ball hiding the license plate. So I just store the removable receiver with the spare tire.

The MASTECH MS8050 is a solid unit

It was down to either this or, at around $100 less and with similar ranges and accuracy on paper, a Uni-Trend UT804. Despite the price, I am glad I went with this one. Its bright, vivid VFD display won me over as I can see it clearly from across the room at any angle.The MS8050 is pretty useless for measuring capacitance less than 100nf, and the PC software that it comes with it pretty basic and plots a red line on a teal background which is about the worst color combination to see in the world. All other measurements from it have been quite satisfactory. It's a nice solid unit I plan to use for many years.

Very Heavy Duty, So-So Paint

This is a great receiver hitch, but it can be a real bear to install yourself. One of the mounting bolts is right next to the muffler, so you either have to remove the muffler or have the right tight-quarter wrench. Also, two of the mounting bolts have to be fished into the frame rails, which is pretty tricky and requires close attention to what you're doing. Fortunately, this receiver comes with a handy little nut and bolt fishing wire to help guide the hardware into the frame rail. All-in-all I'd recommend professional installation since this particular application is one of the harrier I've seen. It's okay if you're a car mechanic type with the right tools, but the average handyman is going to get in over his head. It took me about 2 hours with plenty of grunting and cursing. This receiver also comes with a removable heavy-duty tongue for mounting a hitch ball - a nice touch (a hitch ball isn't included which is a good thing since you need to choose a specific size). The packaging is a joke, so it's likely this receiver will come delivered with some scuffs or scratches on the finish. The powder-coated finish is pretty good, but not as good or as thick as some other receivers I've seen (like Drawtite or Reese). My hitch came to me with a couple of scuffs due to the corners of the hitch poking out of the thin cardboard box. No worries about integrity of the hitch, though, since this thing is built like a tank. Once installed, it's pretty much an extension of your car's frame. I have no doubt the hitch could easily handle way more weight than what this installation is rated for. I'm sure mine will outlast the car it's attached to.

Excellent turntable, worth the money

The Stanton T-80is a direct drive turntable with analog and digital output, which is what I used to digitize my old LPs for long term storage. The turntable has everything you could hope of in terms of reliability a quality. The motor is quiet and quick. It will also rotate the platter backwards. Though some of the uses for this turntable are for professional DJs (hence the direct drive motor,and not a belt driven platter), I found the sound quality to be extremely good, and the built in analog/digital converter a great convenience as signal degradation was virtually eliminated. If you get a chance to get one, buy it! Don't buy the cheap crap they sell where you have the CD, radio and record player in one unit: those are toys, not professional tools.

Great turntable but had to modify the tonearm

Bought the T80 in Dec 2005, have used it to transfer hundreds of 78s (I have a correct cartridge for 78s), 45s and 33s to computer. Immediately upon getting this turntable (to replace a worn out Onkyo), I found the tone arm was too short to track properly. It would commence to skip, that is, it would stay in the same track over and over, before it reached the inner part of platters. The "stop" averaged 3-1/4" to 3-3/8" from center and no attempts to change tracking weight or otherwise solved the problem; it would not complete any platter of any sort. My analysis was that the tone arm was about an inch too short and needed to be angled rather than straight. As I had not yet disposed of the Onkyo, I used the Onkyo pickup-head mount and modified it to: (a) extend the arm by 1.125", (b) preserve the Onkyo's pickup angle, (c) hold the Stanton pickup-head/needle, and (d) used the Onkyo quick-connects to extend the Stanton wires. That solved the problem and the turntable has, since, performed without any problems of any kind. I since made a drawing with a CAD program of an "extension" made with 1/8" plexiglass would enable using the Stanton pickup shell.One other thing, it came with a cloth dust cover but no hard-shell cover. I had a "smoke" plexiglass cover made at TAP Plastics that fits turntable and dust cover perfectly. The only "maintenance" has been new "LP" or 78 needles as required.ADDENDUMAfter I posted this review, I found another forum comment that says Stanton makes two types of tonearm. One type is "DJ" and the other is "audiophile"; they are not the same. I was not made aware of this fact when I bought this turntable; it has the DJ tone arm, thus the original tracking problem. The audiophile tonearem should not have the tracking problem I experienced. THEREFORE, NOTE that "my fix" is ONLY for Stanton DJ turntables, not their audiophile turntables.

As if Mercedes had made it themselves!

I have an AMG W211 E-class and even though Curt says it won't fit that particular model (I'm assuming because of the deeper rear bumper cover), it fit perfectly, and as if Mercedes had made this themselves. Thirty minutes tops to install it. Basically remove the two bumper straps, hang the four u-bolts, put the hitch in place and screw in the four nuts, drill the holes in the trunk well and then replace the two bumper straps. It is NOT NECESSARY to remove the rear bumper cover, and I can't imagine why anyone would do that.

Install instructions lacking critical info

The receiver hitch itself for my MB E320 is very well made and I would have rated it much higher except for the incredibly poor and misleading installation instructions. They listed 5 steps and suggested that it would take a mere 30 minutes for a pro and 60 minutes for a DIYer. I'm a very experienced guy with more than 50 years experience doing all the work on my cars up to and including bodywork, painting and rebuilding engines and automatic transmissions. So, I figured 60 minutes ought to do it.The four steps to install the actual unit took me about 30 minutes including drilling two 3/8" holes into the side corners of the trunk box, but that one step that mentioned removing the fascia.......well that took me about 5 more hours.What's a fascia? They mean the bumper cover. That flimsy, flexible plastic thing that wraps around the bottom of the car from wheel well to wheel well just below the trunk lid and tail lights. Believe me, if you're not familiar with this removal procedure, you will be in trouble. There are something like ten bolts that attach it to the body, and they are all hidden from sight.So, now you have to figure out where they might be and determine just how much of the interior trunk panels need to removed to even see them. Both inside trim panels and the rear cover need to be removed and that means locating and removing some ingenious plastic rivets, Torx screws plus everything necessary to get to the spare tire. Also two of those screws are located hidden behind some plastic panels inside the wheel wells. It would still have taken about an extra hour or two even IF they indicated where and how the fasteners were located, but without any clues, it was a real challenge to do it at all. Shame on them for leaving one in the dark for something this important.Replacing that nicely painted, wiggly bumper cover alone was another exciting endeavor not to be recommended without a second person to help.Bottom line...this is not a DIYer installation. Get an estimate from a Mercedes body guy for the bumper cover R&R and hang on to your wallet.

This fits a 2007-2009 E350 Sport Option quite well.

Curt says it doesn't fit an E350 with the sport option. It does fit. I'm using it for a hitch-mount bike rack so I didn't bother to drill the secondary support holes into the tire well, but it would have been fairly easy to do so. Otherwise it is a bolt-on installation. The top of the hitch socket does touch the bottom of the rear plastic bumper cover, but that's an advantage. The socket is almost unnoticeable after installation.
