There are really cool parts in this lego set. If you like lego a lot and collect it, you should definately buy this. It is really cool. It's nice that it's my favorite color: yellow. And you can build submersibles and underwater houses with it. I like it a lot, and I think you will too!

fun and versatile

My son (9 years old) loves Legos, but often he'll build the model once and then it disappears into the lego box, which is fine, because he's always using the pieces from the models for other things, but with this one I'm amazed at how long he's kept most of it together. He's made all of the different models in the instruction book, and he loves modifying the sub endlessly. This has been one of the best kits we've bought.

We love legos!

There are instructions for a variety of ocean going vessels to be made with this lego set...and kids own imaginative creations are practically infinite. I especially like that this is a structure that does not have a specific attatchment to a specific movie theme etc...i think it allows for more original creative thought for the child. This is a great product!

Not very durable for a Lego product

Lego has always prided itself on durable toys that last for years.I purchased this dump truck for my son over the weekend. While the toy is very detailed and has tons of play value, it is not very durable for a Lego toy. As opposed to everything in the model using bricks and plates, Lego created a molded plastic dump for the truck instead of making it out of plates. Also, if you push down on the truck while pushing it forward, it tends to snap the frame and you have to do a quick fix.Despite these drawbacks, it's still a great model and would work well with any Lego layout. Enjoy!

Great project

This bike is awesome. It took a few hours to put together but well worth the effort. I made the street bike and it has a working suspension and drivetrain. When I'm bored with it - I can take it apart and make it into a chopper.If you're into motorcycles, love Legos, and want to have 2 projects in the same box - this is the motorcyle for you.

Simply amazing bike

Well... so i bought this bike, and its hard 2 find anywhere, but once i built it i found out why. it has two setting suspension, working V4, a pair of very nice tires and good steering. the second option, the choppper, is even better. it looks like something from OCC, and still has the chain and the V4. if you buy two Lego Bionicle Rakishi things, and you give one a pair of the long arms, it can actually ride it!! I'll post a picture when i figure out how. this bike is awsome!!!~Toby

Lego 8420 powerful motorcycle

Simply Awsome!!!!This is a big machine, highly detailed with many working things like steering, 4-cyl engine and tranmission-chain drive.Instructions for 2 models included, the other is a chopper like the ones built by OCC. The new shock suspension has 2 settings, soft for an "easy ride"or hard for "speed". Get this bike SOON since it is not on sale at lego.com or ebay. (...) I was really surprised to see this in my local toys'r us. I will post photos when i finish it.

This is a must have for any child who's got the castle already!

We bought our son the Lego Duplo Play Sets Knight's Castle for his birthday and my mom got him this dragon to go with it. He's had so much fun with this. It provides hours of fun and imagination.I don't know how much fun the dragon would be on it's own, but with the castle it's absolutely great.The dragon is very durable, my son has put it through a lot already and it still looks great and nothing is broken on it.You can move it's wings and if you open it's mouth the flames that come with the castle will atach inside the dragons mouth so it looks like he's breathing fire. The knight can be easily attached on the dragons back so he can ride on it.This is definitely a great toy and I would highly recommend it for any child that loves dragons, knights and castles.

A Hit!

This was my gift to my four-year-old nephew, who is just mad about knights. He and his eight-year-old sister had a grand old time coming up with different story lines featuring the dragon and knight. The dragon is large and sturdy and the knight sits well on his back, and all pieces seem to be standing up to some really rough and tumble play. I would definitely recommend this, even if you do not have the castle series, which my nephew does not own but which does not seem to have diminished his enjoyment of the knight and dragon.It's a pity they don't include a picture of the dragon on this site. Disregard the misleading picture of a knight on a horse that is currently displayed.

i bought this toy today as an art student majoring in toy design.this product has value. like another viewer posted, the dinosaur alone is worth the ten bucks, hes very sturdy and his joints are on small ratchets so any child that can manipulate his limbs can play with him easily. his head and arms socket into his body, so as usual with lego toys they are nearly impossible to break because you just snap them back together.the dune buggy itself is a favorite of mine because i'm just partial to dune buggies, but bias aside its a pretty good example of lego engineering. some of the cosmetic parts like bits of the engine and the antenna snap off the toy easily, but this is just cosmetic damage and nothing that cant be immediately remedied by the child playing with it.the rubber rollcage does seem a little tacky at first, but after analyzing the toy i think its a good idea, the giant dinosaur can just smush it and chomp right through to the driver!no matter which toy the child plays with you get your money's worth with this set, they'll either love the dunebuggy or the dinosaur and play with them exclusively, but legos are so durable that they'll be played with forever. i'd gladly pay double what lego is asking for this set.

Seriously? This item is priced at $119.00. It's no larger than a $12.00 Lego set at a retail store. Unless I open the box and the Legos are made of precious metals, this is an absolute rip off. Chaulk one up for the commercialism of Christmas.

okay,so, i did some research on lego.com and i thought it was pretty cool.i decided to buy it along with the "street sprinter vs. lizard". i assembled this set on a train, and the contruction was easy. the model look pretty sweet, but the rollcage thing should not have been a soft piece.The minifig is really cool,but i dont like how all the colors are so dark. it woulda been kinda cool if the colors of the car were mixed, because the dinos mightve destroyed some of the resources.

This is a great toy which I enjoyed building in 20 minutes and lasted for a long time.The jeep is great especially with the rocket launcher and the design is cool with much detail.The mutant lizards are also really awesome. This is the third set of dino attack for me andI will treasure it for a long time.

My son loves this toy. He spent hours working on it and protects it like Ft. Knox. I would highly recommend it for a child 7 years old and up if you don't want to pick it up over and over again.

Great gift - my nephew loved it!

A good birthday gift

This was the only thing my 8-year-old boy wanted for his birthday. Thanks to Amazon.com, I could get it in time. It shipped as promised and arrived on time. He was able to put most of it together by himself (with just a little help from mom in a couple of tricky parts.) I like Legos' focus on making instructions young people can follow. It is educational and satisfying for my son to put it together himself. Of course, the vehicle is made of legos, and so has come apart in a few places a few times during more vigorous play. But overall it has stayed together well and he has had a good time with it. (The small teeth for decoration on the vehicle are kind of a pain, and he has actually taken them off so he doesn't lose them.) I'd recommend it for a Lego, dinosaur or track-vehicle fan of 8 or 9 years old.

Lego finaly made somthing cool!

I think that the DINO ATTACK! legos are the coolest ever. Especialy this one. It comes with 4 army dudes, a 10 inch mutan T-Rex, and the coolest tank(The Iron Predator). The cannon on The Iron Predator really fires! The mutan T-Rex has light up eyes and mouth! I'm tyring to collect all the sets. It isn't very easy. So far I have The Iron Predator, Urban Avenger, and The Street Sprinter.

First let me talk about Iron Predator. Iron predator is tank with a cannon and missle that you can fire. It also has a ladder. Now let me talk about T-Rex. It is a T-Rex action figure with moving arms, moving legs, and a moving head.I reccomend this toy!
