5Super!
By Morosco
I have been having a great deal of fun with the Tao xm2go. I even look forward to the daily jog! No more horrible music from broadcast stations. No more listening to my limited library of music. Now I have the largest variety of music, news, and information that one could ever hope for. Reception is great (apparently I'm near a repeater). The unit is a little larger than a pack of smokes. Easy to carry. Don't like the earbuds.....but they do have an inline volume switch. Any other standard headphones will fit it so I'll probably use some others. Nice to have a large disply. The buttons are easy to understand. Each button nicely lights up and is easy to read in the dark. Designed very well. An amazing array of accessories (most any other company would nickle and dime you to death for these). EXCELLENT gift for joggers, bikers, fishermen, gardeners, beach-goers, etc.

5Nice and rugged unit, few drawbacks.
By Arne W Flones
The Tap XM2Go is about the best you can get for portable XM. It seems to be much more rugged than the other portables. I expect this to be a long-lived unit. Case looks like it can take some punishment. The number of accessories included with the Tao XM2Go means that you're not going to be spending more on essentials to get you going. It includes both home and car kits, both of which are very complete. The home kit includes charging cradle, AC adaptor (with an innovative brick that doesn't block unused outlets), XM antenna w/ 25 foot cord, earbuds, a soft case w/ belt-loop, remote control w/ batteries, audio cable, and a snap-on portable stand. The car kit has car power adaptor, car cradle, car antenna, swivel mount, flush mount, vent mount, cell phone mount, cleaning kit, and an alcohol prep pad. I don't think any of the other units come with as complete accessories. This guy is ready to go.Nice features include built-in FM modulator so you can broadcast to any FM radio, both in the car and at home. This works very well, but a direct connection sounds better. It also can record up to five hours of encoded audio. You can either record instantly (actually starts a couple of seconds after you press the button) or you can schedule a recording. Unfortunately, you have to have the unit turned off to schedule recording. Also, too bad you can't plug in an SD memory card to expand the amount you can record. Oh well, maybe the next model. The controls and the remote control are easy to use. There are so many features that it takes a little practice but the learning curve isn't too bad. A little trial and error after error gets you through it. The manual could be a bit more descriptive, but it isn't bad considering that it is quite small. The only complaint I have is entering numbers on the unit is cumbersome. The remote control has a much better control layout. There is no battery charge indication while the unit is charging. Tao claims five hours on a charge. I haven't had it enough to test this. If you use this unit mostly as a base/car unit, that should be plenty. I like the idea of using it outdoors on its batteries w/o an external antenna. My cursory testing shows that this works fairly well as long as the path to the satellite isn't blocked too badly. It would be nice if the unit had "skip protection" for those cases when connection is intermittent.I rated this guy five stars because it is probably the top of the line. My review of competing units lead me to conclude that the Tao XM2Go was the most rugged and had the best features. If you want an XM radio, this one certainly should fit the bill. It's incredibly adaptable.

5Now comes with replacement battery
By TooManyHobbies
I live in New Orleans and FM radio choices became very limited after the hurricane. So after months of audio purgatory I made the plunge and subscribed to XM.WOW. XM is great and the Tao XM2Go works like a charm.I connect the Tao to my belt and take it everywhere. I didn't even bother hooking up the car receiver. I just sit the little fellow on my dashboard and use the headphones. Reception is fine. It does lose the signal when you go under power line or an overpass, but it's only out for a fraction of a second. There are a few minor things about it that I don't like though. 1) It takes a few tries and some maneuvering to attach the Tao to the charging base. Things just don't seem to lineup right. 2) The carrying case covers the LCD display and the control buttons. It would be nice if there were an opening that would allow access to the control panel without pulling it completely out of the case. 3) The head phones are painful 4) Control are stiff and a little difficult to work (especially when driving). I now leave the Tao's remote control in the car and use the remote to change the station. Also TAO has apparently gotten the message about the battery problems. I purchased mine on March 12, and there was a replacement battery taped to the inside of the box.Go XM!

5A Perfect Solution
By Joseph Delach
I bought two of these for my four kids. It was the perfect solution to a clutter problem. They were fairly easy to assemble, and they are just the right size for the kids to hang their coats, store their bookbags, hats, gloves, etc. They work out great in our laundry room where we can store items on the top, out of reach of the kids. Wish I discovered these babies years ago.

I use this flashlight at night on the water from my boat and it is excellent. You can see great distances clearly and it cuts through the haze. Excellent and I highly recommend it.

5Pelican 2020 - tough lights
By B. Agius
I have been using my Pelican 2020's now for 3 years in about the harshest conditions imagineable. Dirty, wet, dry, hot, or cold. If you can imagine it, I've done it to these flashlights. Pelican claims they're "unbreakable", but you can break them (90 foot drop to concrete). But send it to Pelican and they'll replace it or repair it.Pros:1. TOUGH!!!!2. Bright with great battery life.3. Easy to maintain.4. Compared to the price of a comparable mag-lite, it's worth every penny.5. Great "spot" light that can be seen a long way off.Cons:1. Sometimes they'll burn out within the first couple days of use, but send it back to Pelican and they'll fix it. If it doesn't burn out it will last forever.2. Head-size. The head is a little big and the lens gets scratched, but it's replaceable and something you can get used to.

5The Perfect Photo Equipment Case
By Michael Horn
Having outgrown my Pelican 1510 Hardcase - I was in the market for a larger protective case that had room for my two camera bodies - two speedlights, flash diffusers, seven lenses and other digital photography accessories including batteries, battery chargers, filters and lens cases and hoods. This case offers water, dirt, dust and chemical protection; the case being both water and air tight. Depending on the padding options, plucked foam offering the most protection - there are very few places, climates or modes of transport this case and its contents cannot survive.Fitted out with optional TSA locks - it offers some vestiges of security being thrown into an airplane hold - it being too large to be accepted as cabin overhead baggage. Two stage lid clamps on top and sides insure there will be no accidental opening of this case. O ring and air pressure valve insure water and air tightness. As a defense contractor, I travel to climate extremes as part of my employment and switch between 3 different padding options:1. 'Plucked foam' enables me to size almost exactly each piece of equipment in virtually shock proof protection. The downside is less room for everything I want to carry. This carry option included the foam padding in the lid - giving my equipment all around protection.2. (Pelican #1614) Padded velcro dividers - adjustability with minimum 'wasted space' allowing a greater carrying capacity, but less isolation of individual pieces of equipment from bouncing and jarring. Under most circumstances - it remains my preferred packing option. I can change equipment padding space on the fly - using the velcro strips to resize the padding. Keeping the foam on the box lid still offers very good all around protection against contents moving or being bounced against each other under any travel circumstances.3. (Pelican #1609 lid organizer)Padded velcro dividers - with an unpadded lid organizer cargo net option replacing the foam in the case lid ... this option is great for maximizing carry capacity - with the sacrifice of shock and bounce and isolation protection. Objects that would be protected by a foam insert in the lid are fully exposed to larger vertical objects carried in the case body. Careful, very careful packing and spacing of contents must be conducted to avoid damaging either the contents of lid organizer or case contents (or both) which can rub and scrape and damage each other.Number two is my preferred organiztion of the case - the others put into play based on need for extra protection or carrying a lot of equipment over short distances and time. The case is larger than it appears - gobbling up loads of equipment without protest - with a weight penalty to match. Carrying the case is a joy - wheels are well spaced and move without friction; retractable handle is comfortable and allows a good carrying angle. Getting the case in and out of a deep car trunk with a full load of equipment inside is the only discomfort drawback to using the full capacity of this case. There are carry handles both top and side to aid in this effort. The case is offered in 3 colors from Pelican: Black, OD (Green) and Desert (Tan). Not all vendors will carry all colors. Be very specific as well as thinking through on which padding options you select as the options are not cheap. With a lifetime warranty - you cannot do better than choosing this case. 5 Stars...

5Not a complaint to be made about this!
By M. Potvin
I had been through the bag routine, my wife always wondered why I was so obsessed with ordering camera bags. I could *NEVER* find one that was just right for what I needed. I almost ordered the 151x model which would've ended up being too small for my needs. I ended up with the 1610 which is actually the 1614 since I have the model with the dividers. I am glad that I went with the larger sized model, and I don't foresee the need to take this as a carry on.Definitely go with the model that has the dividers, unless you are after the utmost of protection and don't expect to change the configuration around. In researching many people suggested using some adhesive for the foam pieces to help hold them in place. Others also complained of how the wheel support system was built into the case and you had to build padding around it which took away precious space. With the dividers, if I need to make a configuration change, it is as simple as moving the velcro attached dividers. I only realistically have two slots left in the case, and at this point I can't carry my flash bracket or Rayflash in the Pelican as I'm out of space for those longer items. The lid top organizer Pelican - Lid organizer - ballistic nylon will assist you in making the best use of space possible in the case. Initially I was concerned taking out the foam padding protecting the gear from being crushed by pressure on the top. This proved to be totally unfounded. I use the case as a table, seat, or step stool, and it doesn't flex in the least bit. I've seen videos of a loaded case being driven over by a pickup truck and it didn't flex in the least bit! I use my lid organizer to carry all of my batteries, additional memory cards, contracts, pens, business cards, cleaning materials, bride rescue pack, and another highly recommended item, a Pelican Desiccant pack #1500D Pelican Peli Desiccant Silica Gel. I'm quite shocked at how much moisture exists, and I've really only owned this since winter, and haven't been through a humid summer yet! Those people that just throw the little bags from shoe boxes in, aren't doing anything for their gear!!!The wheels work exceptionally well. Last weekend I shot a wedding at a Bed and Breakfast, the service was across a large field. A day after a prolonged rainstorm I had no issues rolling the case across the grassy field. The ladies' heels all sunk into the field though!Four latches around the case ensure a tight locking seal. So good that you can't even latch them if something as small as a single strand of your camera strap is protruding. This is probably by design so that the waterproofing isn't impacted. The multiple lock points have proven useful. I picked up a 6' bike cable Avenir Tightrope Cables (6mm / 6 feet) and use a lettered Master lock Master Lock 1534D Password Plus Combo Lock in Blue, Yellow, Orange, Red or Silver (Colors Vary), 1-Pack so that I can lock the case to a solid object when shooting weddings, or on site. After hearing of cards disappearing from the gift table (from people you know?!) I wanted the extra security. The only con I guess would be weight. My case loaded is pushing 65 pounds. Not enough to take a star off of the rating though. I love having a bulletproof case, and it even floats loaded with all of that gear.

5Great case
By Hello Earth!
I truly enjoy using this case in the field. It can hold most of my Nikon photo gear, that I use 99% of the time. I am glad that it has wheels, because this is not something I would want to carry for any distance. I highly recommend this case because it offers a lot of protection from the weather and from impacts to my photo gear, much better than my old Zero Halliburton aluminum case. As you can see from the photo that I uploaded it holds 3 bodies and several lenses. One of the advantages I like about the 1610 case is that it is wide enough; I can leave on my most frequently used lenses on the bodies, and not to worry about dust issues.

5A great Lego set!
By A Customer
This set is great! I got it as a birthday present from my best friend. It includes sir Rascus on his horse and two shadow knights on their battle wagon. On the wagon is a catapult that launches "hot rocks". It is fun to play with and would probably be better if I had another Knights Kingdom Lego set. Anyways, I recommand this set and that's why I gave it five stars.

4Nifty to build, bit pricy
By Don
One of the best values of LEGO Technics is the education value. The forklift accomplishes this well, as it teaches several mechanical principles (rear steering, graduated lift, universals, tilt back, and smooth lift mech.) It's a bit hard to put the fork section together, but the body part is not difficult. I thought it a bit pricy, even given the nice mechanics. Fairly decent parts selection, similar to my favorite this year - the excavator at 20.00.
