Great looking garage floor!

I bought this product and did my garage floor. I cleaned it the day before, let it dry overnight and painted it the following morning. It was easy, fun to do and looks great! Follow the DVD instructions and you can't go wrong. This product is worth every penny. One thing to pay attention to is the time when you mix the epoxy and paint as you have 2 1/2 hours from start to finish and then any leftover product needs to be discarded.

Does what it claims to do.

Quikrete garage floor coating is a good product and does what it claims to do. To echo just about every other reviewer, one MUST take the time to prep the concrete prior to application. Also, be sure to mix parts "A" and "B" thoroughly and let sit, covered, for thirty (30) minutes prior to application. If you follow the directions and use some common sense, your floor will turn out well. I don't believe some of the horror stories I've read on line. The only way this product will flake off immediately or not cure properly is if you do not mix it thoroughly and/or do not let it sit prior to application.If you've taken the time to prep your concrete and apply the color coat, you should apply a clear top coat to seal in the fleks and add depth and durability to your floor. Then, once the floor has cured, apply a few coats of wax. I use my garage as a combination workshop and library. I do not park our cars in it and have no caustic chemicals to spill on it. The weather here in the San Francisco Bay Area rarely dips below freezing, and my floor is not exposed to direct sunlight. So, it should hold up well. If you are looking for an ultra tough floor with showroom depth, then you're going to have to pay quite a bit more for it. If you have that type of floor done professionally, you're looking at $3,000 easy. It all depends on your needs and what you are willing to spend.

perfect kit...

This was pretty much my first time doing a DIY project...and it went flawlessly!The DVD that comes with it is informative and makes it an easy process to follow....The kit itself is simple, and there are instructions on everything...Honestly, everything they tell you is accurate and my only complaint would be there is ALMOST not enough paint to do a one car garage. I say almost, because, there was enough, but LITERALLY we were scraping the bottom of the can to get the last bits out.....My one recommendation is, if you have a really old porous garage like I do, make sure you don't use TOO much epoxy doing the trimming. I probably used a good 10% of the paint just on that.....Also, gauge how much paint you've used when you are 1/3 done with the garage, and then you can pretty much work from there.....Again, 5 stars! Excellent easy to follow kit and I'm ready for my next project.....

One TOUGH mixer/amp!

I've been using this powered mixer since I started my DJ business back in 2000. I have probably done over 1000 weddings/ parties ect. and the Mackie 406 mixer/amp has never let me down once. I've used this unit in small supper clubs up to large gymnasiums - the sound quality is outstanding in any venue. I have recieved many compliments from clients as well as fellow DJs on the clean, crisp sound this unit produces. This baby is LOUD too! I use the Mackie 406 mixer/amp along with a pair of JBL JX100s.

Great unit, only one complaint.

I purchased this as a replacement for an older Sony CD boombox that died a painful death. The design, features and sound quality of the ZS-X10 are all great. My sole complaint is that like all previous Sony CD players/stereos/etc, this one doesn't come with a standard power cord. It comes with a GINORMOUS wall wart.Having to shlep that big, bulky thing around all but eliminates this unit's ability to perform as a portable device. I understand that by using an external transformer it saves Sony the cost of undergoing testing by the Underwriters Laboratories to get a UL rating, but billing this device as a portable boombox without making that detail clear in any of the sales literature is akin to a bait and switch. I have *never* seen a portable stereo come with a wall wart before.I went back and forth for about a week trying to decide whether or not to return the unit, but since I plan to use it solely in the bedroom and don't plan to take it out, I ultimately chose to keep it.If you're looking for a unit that will live in your house and rarely move, this is a great unit. If you're looking for something to take back and forth to work or move on a regular basis, I would suggest that you look at something else instead.

Big sound, little boombox, beautiful design

I was surprised at the quality and presence of this small lightweight item, which I bought for the convenience of travel, not expecting such fine sound. I have a large collection of old quality sound equipment, and this is not something I would regard as a COMPROMISE, it is most excellent to my ear. The smooth design is also museum worthy, nothing sticks out to get broken, it is a pleasure, and I recommend it highly.

Hope This Schlage Handleset is a Winner

I bought this to replace an 8 year old Schlage Plymouth handleset. I thought I was buying the exact replacement. The picture on this item looks like it has a screw visible on the very bottom part of the outside handle (secures the lowest part of the outside handle to the door). What came in the shipment, however, did not have that screw, but instead a new bolt system that does a much better job of the securing the handle to the door. Upside...stronger and more secure. Downside...had to drill a hole all the way through the door for the bolt to go through.At first I was peeved, but I installed it anyway, and it looks great and feels really secure and sturdy.The Schlage handleset that I replaced was original to the house, which is only 8 years old, and the finish was corroded, and the lock was really tough to operate. My five year old son couldn't even open the door from the outside. I even took it all apart and lubed everything, and it still didn't work very well. The Schlage warranty didn't apply to me because I wasn't the original owner of the house. If this one doesn't last, Schlage will be buying me a new one.

Samba "Original" vs. "Classic"-- KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

I have experienced both these pairs. Breakdown:CLASSIC: adidas Men's Samba Classic Soccer Shoe- Larger tongue- easier to slip on/off- medium/enhanced arch support. If you wear air-soled running shoes, you probably won't even notice. Personally, I'm NOT A FAN.- The arch support has changed in the last 3 years (the last time I bought this pair). Be warned!ORIGINALS:adidas Originals Men's Samba Reflective Sneaker- Smaller tongue- Old-school arch support (meaning flatter/next to none). I have worn nothing but Chucks and older Sambas happily for many years, and identify with the barefoot-running crowd, so for me, flatter is better.- Harder to slip on/off, but once it's on, it fits like a glove!- Yes, they squeak like everyone says. Doesn't bother me, but then again I'm not a movie usher, burglar or otherwise occupied in the skulking arts.Some people will prefer one over the other. For me, the clear winner is ORIGINALS.

Very comfortable, very cool

What is there to say about these shoes besides the fact that they're very comfortable, feel great (redundancy), and look good? Not much, I guess. What else do you say about shoes? Did I mention that these shoes feel great on the feet, as they would feel anywhere else? Seriously, buy a pair if you're into that whole wearing-shoes thing. $40 or so for a great pair of shoes, very good deal. I mean, you could do a lot worse; you could be spending any money at all on a pair of Crocs. (Whatever America did to deserve those, we sincerely apologize.) Anyway, wearing them with a pair of shorts is fine, but if you're vain when it comes to your legs or you're not quite ready to let your friends know that you too shave the fuzz from your legs, wear these Originals with a pair of trousers, khaki or gray, whatever you're feeling. The shoes are casually athletic, like white guys who say, "Yeah, I play soccer" but in fact have never played soccer for a recreational team and have little-to-none-at-all knowledge about the sport, but the idea sounds good. What's better than running around on green grass, sometimes getting to kick a ball, in short shorts and a jersey, giving yourself and others the impression that you're athletic? You're fooling everyone, don't worry. And after you wipe your forehead and throw your short bangs back, covered in sweat, after you trot over to the sideline, breathing hard, grab a towel, wipe yourself off, sit down in the grass and not the bleachers (on purpose, of course; athletes don't sit in seating apparatuses), take off those hopefully-filthy cleats and slip on these cool-as-hell vintage shoes. I promise they will reinforce your image as an athlete. Did I mention they feel like a foot-rub given by the most beautiful girl in the world? Please, wear these shoes with a sense of honor: be yourself, and for God's sakes, don't pop your collar.

The white/royal blue sambas are really good looking and very comfortable. I dont play soccer and I wear these shoes because of the comfort and the style they have. Very good shoe choice! I would reccomend these for anyone!
