Melissa and Dough anything but a piano

Okay, so my 1 year old son was facinated with this piano. But it sounds horrible. I mean Awful. In fact, we were afraid that the sound, which is very and very and VERY off tune, will ruin his musical inclination. I dont mind the chime - but its too off tune. So we packed it up and back it goes.

Pretty little toy piano

This is a pretty, four-legged piano with helpful color-coded keys. We purchased it as our big "Santa" gift to my daughter for Christmas. It arrived quickly and was extremely easy to put together. My daughter, who is almost 5, was delighted when she saw it and enjoys tinkering on it. I suppose our only complaint is that it does not really sound like a piano. It is definitely a toy and sound like one. Overall, though, we're happy with our purchase.Update....we had twin boys last year. This toy is the first thing the (now) one year-olds want to see when they wake up and run in the play room. They love banging on it and making "music" and the keys are not too loud as to drive everyone crazy. It is apparently sturdy enough to handle the delightful hammering of two small boys. We still love it!

wonderful

This was absolutely wonderful for my year old nephew! I would not suggest it for children over three, as it is pretty small. The sound is not fantastic (it sounds like a child's xylophone), but isn't annoying like other models. All in all it is a great buy and a wonderful introduction to piano for toddlers.

If you're on your feet a lot, BUY THESE SHOES.

More to come on this review, but suffice it to say that I am about to purchase my third pair of Spira Classic shoes. I went through Nike, Asics and K-Swiss until I struck the perfect balance with Spira.I'm a med/surg nurse on an extremely busy unit in a large hospital. These shoes helped greatly to relieve my plantar fasciitis, knee pain and other lower extremity discomfort from being on my feet for 12-14 hours a day. The shoes are extremely lightweight, the springs provide excellent support and energy return. The soles are slip-resistant, but as with any work environment, care should always be taken around wet floors, no matter the 'slip resistant' claim. Still, I feel confident and comfortable in these shoes and would have no other pair for my profession. Disappointed in this shoe

My expectations were high and I was excited to receive my Spira's as I now walk 2 miles to work. However, I quickly realized that while this shoe may be good for some people, they are not good for my feet. I am a supinator (wear down the outside edges of my shoes) and I have a very high arch. I find the heals of these shoes particulary hard--almost like you can feel the metal spring inside the heal. I ended up inserting an extra gel sole inside each shoe, which has helped. Overall, a big disappointment, especially given the price.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVIC

I purchased this shoe for my wife. It was her second pair. The first pair was fine and she liked them, so we bought the second pair. This pair wore out in five weeks. The lining in the heel broke down. As it was too late to return them to Amazon, I contacted the manufacturer. When I discussed the problem with customer service, she told me there was no problem with the shoe, the problem was that the shoe didn't fit right. I asked to speak to someone higher up and she connected me to the head of the returns depatment. When I described the problem to him, he also immediately told me it was a problem with the fit. I asked him why we would have a problem with this pair and not with the first pair. He responed thats a good question. I don't know about you, but I'v never had a problem like this, and I'v had hundreds of shoes in my life. From the way they acted it appeared to be a common problem. They were very quick to say it was a problem wiyh the fit. I think they have seen it a lot. Anyway he told he he couldn't help, but he would talk to the head of the on-line store, who was off that day, and she would return my call. They never did return my call.Very poor customer service and they do not stand behind their product. I will not buy from them again, $135.00 of a pair of shoes and they won't retun a call when theres a problem

Zuiko 7 - 14 mm Wide Angle Lens Review

I bought this lens in Oct 2008 on my Amazon Visa Card thinking I would get no interest payments for 24 months. It turned out I was wrong and had to do it on the Amazon Store Card to get those repayment terms. I was going to send it back, but I decided to try the lens out with my camera. I instantly fell in love with the results! There was no way I could ever send this lens back! It is now my favorite lens. I photograph many events that involve lots of people like parties and reunions. Many times these situations involve lots of people in close quarters. I bought this lens primarily for the purpose of being able to shoot a restaurant table full of people within close quarters, and yet get everyone included in the frame, without any of the rectilinear or pin cushion distortion one would encounter with most extreme wide angle lenses. This lens by Zuiko from Olympus proved to be the answer to my prayers. I love this lens! There is some distortion that appears to stretch the width of the subjects at the edge of the frame particularly in 7mm mode, but like any lens there is a learning curve that one has to experience to find the sweet spot of a new tool, and this lens is a great tool. I photograph the Graduate Student Events for Baruch College. I am an MBA student there too. Just type the words Baruch College Photos into Google and click on the 1st few links to see some of the photos taken with this lens. I use Olympus cameras and lenses only. The Zuiko 7 - 14 mm is top notch on my list.

The autofocus for that lens is noisy and you can't fit a filter. But the image quality is really mind blowing, that lens loves sky it really hug the blue sky. It's not cheap but if you are looking for super wide angel you can't beat that lens, it worth every pennyHighly recommended if you can afford it

Amazing Piece of Equipment !!

This lens is one amazing piece of equipment . I'm fairly new to SLR photography but found using it quite easy.Obviously have to yet learn the finer tricks of the trade.It's a heavy lens which comes with a protective cover. Though I'd recommend a good strong comparmentalised bag for it.Now coming to the photography itself...pure joy !!!The ability to takes snaps at such a close distance to the subject stands out. It definitely captures more than any lens in the world.I love the distorted images..it adds a totally new dimension to my photography.Now..the price...is it worth it ??Frankly for an amateur..probably not .But as a non professional enthusiast like me.. Definitely worth it.As a professional...I don't think I'm capable of commenting but I'm sure they would definitely be all in praise of it!!!First used the lens in Manhattan and the snaps I captured amazed me to no end... Time to plan my next photography holiday!!

Computer case

I am a bit disappointed with the quality of the craftsmanship of this case. I found the locking blade of the key-lock in the bottom of the case. The screw I found on the floor after dumping the case out of the box. The front door closing look is made of very cheap plastic and would not hold the door closed until I forced the plastic lock back a bit, now it holds but the door opens up if the case is moved around a bit. I had to machine the side cover (window side) as one of the knurled screw holes was not lined properly.It comes with 2 black case fans in a silver finish case and no connection for the motherboard. So you cannot tell the temperature nor the speed of the fans.I have changed the intake and exhaust fans for two Thermaltake blue led fans with motherboard connections and installed 3 more 80mm blue led case fans. Even with all these fans the system runs quiet and cool.Now that the build is complete it looks great with the blue light coming out of it. It is not all negative. I like all the space, which makes it easy to work inside and rout the cables out of the way for good air circulation. It makes for a heavy system as the case itself weighs 26 lbs, empty.I think it was worth the trouble and I would recommend it to anyone as long as you remember that you may have to do a little tinkering.

I bought this not for a speaker stand but for a stand to put a Bose wave radio on and place behind and above my 46' tv. This works perfect. TV audio runs through the Bose and with this stand the Bose placement is perfect. The stand is made very nice, quality is high. Another perfect buy.

Very good speaker stand

This review is for the cc-28 stand. It is very easy to assemble and quite attractive looking. It would be perfect for hardwood floors. My living room unfortunately has a deep carpet, and the stand is a bit wobbly even with the pegs provided. I think the 18" stand would have been adequately stable for my situation. Or Wood technology should have increased the depth of the base for the 28" stand for additional stability. I am quite concerned about the stand toppling if we have even a small earthquake. The reason I gave it 4 stars in because it is not perfect for my floor.The wire guide is very nicely designed, and works very well. With the stand on the pegs, it is a breeze to route the wire through the stand. The top plate is perfect for supporting wider speakers. It feels sturdy enough to adequately support the heavier speakers. Definitely recommended as long as you do not have a deep carpet.One word about the [...] experience. One of the stands had stripped screw holes. When I contacted [...], they immediately issued an RMA, and the replacement process was a breeze. Kudos to [...] for outstanding customer service.

wintec endurance saddle

Great saddle but only one size for the rider. Small rider can get lost in this 17 1/2" seat. Too small for larger rider. Medium rider would love it. Front leg block small and you need a secure seat on those downhill stretches of any ride as the front leg block won't add much stability . Fabric under stirrups show wear easily as it is already pilling after only 3 short rides on mine. Cair panels are great and the horse seemed to love it as he came in after a rough ride without any sore points on him. All in all great saddle for horse , just OK for the rider
