Excellent walker...

I ordered this walker for my father a few months ago and am well-pleased. It is much less expensive than comparable walkers. The cushioned seat and basket are handy for long "trips" and the wheels roll smoothly even over grassy areas. A good buy for someone looking for a quality walker. Even ships for free!

I love my little cart.

The rollater is very handy, not a bit cumbersome, but sturdy. And it's good looking. When my friends come to visit they all dash over to the cart to try it out. I recently had a bout with Sciatica, walking was unbearable, but the little cart came to my rescue. I am grateful to Amazon, for helping so many folks and for such an unbelievable price.

This item was an excellent purchase. It is used daily. Two of the rubber protecters have come off but were glued back on and have not been a problem since. Having used the item I would purchase another if needed.

A little independence goes a long way

I am handicapped and taking a shower is both exhausting and scarey. I recently purchased a plastic transfer bench. This bench has made it much easier for me to get into the shower and it has enabled me to sit down while showering and washing my hair. Getting in and out of the shower is no longer frightening since I am able to sit down and slide my legs into the shower as opposed to trying to climb over the side. I am very pleased with this bench and the independence it gives me.

Great product

I purchased this transfer bench because I severly broke my ankle. I was told I could shower, but sitting. After looking at shower chairs, I found the transfer benches. Now I don't have to worry about falling while trying to get in or out of the tub. I just sit on the portion covering the edge of the tub, swing my legs over. This is very sturdy, came completely assembled. I was even able to put it in myself. This is an excellent choice for wheelchair bound people, the elderly, or simply the temporarily impaired.

Sturdy and good if you can't step over into the tub

I ordered this since I was having foot surgery. It fits the bathtub well, and you can get into the tub with only one working foot. I only gave it 4 stars since the slot for the shower curtain is not very effective. Even with the curtain in the slot I still get some water in the floor.

Well worth the money!

I was provided this model in the hospital after I lost most use of legs. It's very lightweight but durable for a big guy. Folds up easily, comes with inside and outside tips that are easy to take off. Excellent item for the money.

Sturdy & Safe At A Great Price

Bought this for use after knee surgery. Although it's very sturdy, it is also light enough that it's easy for daily use. It's well designed and folds easily to fit in the back seat or trunk of a medium size car. It is wider than some walkers, be sure to measure your doorways;I could not use it to enter my bathroom. The hand grips are somewhat uncomfortable and if I were going to use this for more than just a few weeks I would probably try to cushion them.It arrived within the same week I ordered it and the packaging was adequate so that no damage occurred.

By far the best deal on this item. All other sources to purchase this item were at least $25.00 0r more to purchase.It has the same quality as the advertised, more expensive item listed at Walgreen's. Might be the same item, only marked up. I am extremly happy with this purchase as it proves itself over and over with every bath I give my disabled. Bless you for this item!

This bench is terrific!

My husband broke his leg and sitting on the edge of the tub was extremely difficult because it was so low and narrow. This bench made bathing so much easier for him. He could get comfortable and take long hot showers whenever he wanted. It was easy to adjust to the sloping floor in the tub and felt sturdy during use. I recommend this chair to anyone with difficulty in the bath or shower.

Excellent Bench

This bench was purchased for my brother, who has a spinal tumor and has suffered several strokes. It came on time and in excellent condition and was very easy to assemble, a huge plus! Now, he is able to shower without any danger of falling. The bench is sturdy and has large suction feet for the bath side. You can't go wrong on this product.

Not bad for the money, but...

If you are comparing this only to the hospital-issue plain aluminum tubing walker with small wheels on the front and no seat, it will look as though it's worth five stars. However, if you do your homework and see what else is available, you will have the opportunity to make a more informed choice. As a licensed social worker, I encourage clients to take a look at what's on the market, checking out at least three different models.The back rail on this walker is straight, rather than curved, which would make using the seat as a substitute chair a lot more comfortable. Its wheel asssembly is relatlively wimpy, perhaps explaining why the stated weight limit is 250 lbs. In comparison, the Drive Medical 750BK D-Lite Rollator, Midnight Blue, has a curved back, better wheel assembley, and supports up to 300 lbs--and it's a bit less expensive. Amazon carries that--and other--models, too.However, if the person who will use this is especially tall or heavy, there are more appropriate walkers/rollators available than either of these. Look for the words "tall" or "bariatric" in the description. There are also "junior" models suited for short, frail elders and disabled children.A final point: Amazon carries quite a few walkers/rollators, not all of which offer free super saver shipping. Be sure that you calculate the cost of shipping when making comparisons. But most of all, be sure that the model you are buying is suitably sized for the person who will use it.

Rolls Royce of walkers

Bought this for a 90-y-o mom, who needed an more stable alternative to a cane. She indicates that her neighbors in the retirement community call this walker her "Rolls Royce" as it has such nice features. I was impressed by the quality of the walker, the finish, and the attention paid to detail on both design and fabrication fronts. The only amendments we made to it were to add a bicycle light (as she uses it to walk to the dining room for dinner, often after dark) and some ID ornamentation to differentiate it from the literal parking lot of other walkers - none as nice as hers, I'm told. I'd buy this one again in a heartbeat - great walker, even more incredible at the price.

A great walker

This walker replaced a standard "tennis ball" walker for my mother-in-law. She loves it. So easy to use and maneuver, and she has weak wrists. The thumb supports are very nice. So easy to turn corners instead of the old "lift and place." The basket is nice for storage and it lifts out. Walker folds to put in car. A great purchase.

Great for the Price

Just had my local mechanic put it on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 today with the additional installation pack. Looks great, but the holes still have to be drilled (ovaled) in order to lower/tilt the bumper enough so the tail gate can open fully.

We purchased this item thinking we had a really good deal when we purchased this item.First of all we got a totally different color than the picture. (Color was not a big deal)Then, this bumper did not fit the vehicle,When I tried to return this item or even replace it with one that fits, I called the seller and gave me run around over and over.I tried calling and calling no answer, Tried to leave a message, answering machine was full therefore, I was unable to leave a message.After trying to get a hold of this company finally somebody answered only to put me on hold for over 30 minutesThe only response I got was we will send u an e-mail with instruction on how to retun the item.Several days later. . .I'm still waiting for that e-mail ugh

Great product for the price

Just like it sounds. The picture on Amazon isn't the product you get, but if you've done research and read the description, you will know this. Amazon really needs to put the right picture up though. It does not have the reinforcement bar under it so it's not strong and is designed I think for appearance only. Someone hits you from behind it's not going to do much to stop them. For the price, it's a great replacement option. Make sure you get the install brackets or it won't work!

Be sure and get the mounting kit and read ALL the info... Over all I am satisfied with the bumper. I thought my original mounts would work. They would if I wanted to go through the trouble to drill holes then slot them etc etc. The original bumper had an angled brace for more stability to the outside edge of the bumper. The new one would require modification for a fit of the out side braces. This bumper is not the sturdiest thing I have ever seen.It does bolt up well. acc/light package is fine. the metal is thinner than the original. I am satisfied overall though. It is not chrome as the Pic shows. however it is stated that the bumper is black. and it should be able to be touched up easily as needed with spray paint.For the price it works for me.

Fey Pickup Rear Bumper

Arrived promptly, fit and finish was perfect, just liked the one it replaced except slightly better quality finish. One end was slightly twisted, probably due to falling off a loading dock or something like that. It just took a couple of whacks with a rubber hammer after it was mounted to make it look perfect. I'm sure I could have returned it for another, but who would do that? The price was outstanding. I would buy another the same way. I am very happy.
