5Best drill press vice out there.
By William Goodman
This vice really is GREAT; the cam locking works applies very easy & works great, & Ilove the small lips inside the clamping area for when you have to hold your pice very level for drilling & tapping. This is really a total package !!

4very fast, sturdy vise
By Robert C. Corcoran
This is an extremely useful vise for doing repetitive hole drilling. With the lever in the vertical position, the vise face can be easily slid up to the work in a very smooth/easy, yet firm fashion. Pulling back on the lever then locks the piece in place. When drilling similarly positioned holes, you can then just push up on the lever, move the piece, then pull back to lock in place again. The only thing I don't especially like about the vice is that there's a sort of step built into each face of the vice, intended to make it possible to hold work parallel to the bottom of the vice. While probably valuable in some cases, I've found this step somewhat inconvenient for some applications, as it can lead some pieces of work being clamped slightly out of vertical. But, with some care, this isn't a serious/consistent problem. Extremely, good quality of construction; a real joy to use.

5Exceptional Equipment Case
By J. Williams
I purchased this case to protect Hard Disk Drives during shipments between the US and our European facilities. This case is extremely well designed and manufactured. The latches have a double locking mechanism that prevents accidental opening. The lid has foam that is glued in, but the foam liner for the main case area is fully removable and configurable. The wheels appear to be high quality neoprene and roll quietly on hard surfaces. The extendable handle is rugged and locks in and out positively. I haven't yet had the case wet, but the seal appears well made and designed to keep the contents dry. The front corners of the lid and case have 1/4" lock holes. I use a small hitch pin lock for keeping the curious out. Overall, this case is what we should be expecting when we buy "Made in the USA". Well done SKB!

5This case is superior quality, and exceptionally flexible
By Marshall Pennell
The quality of the case itself, the seal, the latches, the wheels, etc. is superior. Then there is the lining. The removable partitions are fantastic. Padded with velcro, I was able to set them up to perfectly fit my gear. When I ordered I paid close attention to the measurements of the case but I still had a sneaking suspicion that my stuff wouldn't all fit. The opposite was true. Somehow this case held more stuff than I even thought it might. And everything is neat, snug, and well protected. I highly recommend this case!

4Good if you know what you are getting into
By Matt Jones
After I realized that I was gonna have to go the route of the FM transmitter to play my ipod in my car, I did tons of research. I must say that this unit sounds really well, if you configure it right. The first thing you need to to is set your ipod EQ to "treble reducer" or "small speakers". (I have yet to figure out why the EQ affects the sound through the dock/line out, but the volume control doesn't) The high end sounds will break up and annoy the crap out of you if you dont! Then you have to have multiple stations to work with. I find myself switching presets once every couple of car rides depending on where I go in town. I live in Louisville, KY and there are plenty of free stations which work well. While you can scroll down to 87.9 by holding down the right two preset buttons and scrolling, I have found this to be useless where I live. Stations higher in the band are overridden much easier than this one for some reason. Also, as with all fm transmitters, there will be some sound of static hiss as you crank up the volume. I find that this scares lots of people, but it really isn't that bad in the end. Ingeniously, if you turn on the air in your car to the lowest setting, it seems to match the static well and canel it out:) All in all this is a great solution for those with CD player only car stereos. The ipod is charged as you drive and you save hundreds on getting an ipod compatible stereo installed or hardwiring a connection from the back of your car stereo, which you can't even do (that I have seen) with my 2001 honda civic.

5Better than the Monster Cable iCarPlay Plus
By Corey
I have the Kensington 33185 in one car and the iCarPlay Plus in the other. While the iCarPlay Plus is decent, the Kensington wins out.First, the Kensington has better reception, which I believe is largely due to it being tunable. You can set it to any station on the FM radio frequency so you get to control which station works best for you in your given area. The iCarPlay Plus has three stations pre-set and they can not be changed, so if those three are being used in your area by high-power FM stations you're out of luck. Luckily, I can use the three pre-sets in my area because there are no high-powered broadcasts on those stations already, but the Kensington still sounds better.Second, the Kensington's controls are molded into the unit that plugs into the cigarette lighter while the iCarPlay Plus' controls are separate. This is a problem for the iCarPlay Plus because the unit tends to get flung around during sharp turns or lost between the seat and center console during normal use causing the buttons to be pressed and the station it broadcasts on to get changed. It can be very dangerous to try to find the unit again and switch the broadcasting station while driving. Since the Kensington's controls stay in place plugged snuggly into the cigarette lighter, they are always in easy reach and never get accidentally changed.Third, I protect my iPod with iPod Armor which gives accessibility to the iPod's dock connector at the bottom of the iPod. The slot is plenty big for the standard USB and Fireware connector that Apple ships. However, the iCarPlay Plus' connector, for some unfathomable reason, is nearly twice the size of the standard connector, therefore I have to remove my iPod from the armor every time I want to use the iCarPlay Plus. This is annoying! The Kensington uses the same size connector as Apple which means that I don't have to remove my iPod from its armor so I can just plug in and drive away. While the iCarPlay Plus is a nice unit that does work quite well, the Kensington 33185 is the overall winner based on sound quality, reception, and thoughtful engineering.

3Good for in town, but a pain on long trips
By Jim Mann
The idea of playing your iPod through your car's FM radio is a good one. And it works well if you are basically staying in one place. You can identify a frequency with no signal, set your transmitter to that, and you're fine. However, it's very painful to use on long trips, since as you travel you move into areas where your chosen frequency is no longer empty and you begin to hear lots of static. At that point, you have to start looking around for another frequency. In a recent trip (from New England to Pittsburgh), sometimes we were lucky and didn't have to change for an hour and a half. At other times, we wound up searching for new free frequencies every 20 minutes or so. This was annoying with two of us in the car; it would have been near impossible if there was only the driver. What one of these devices really needs is a "seek" function that works the opposite the way the radio's seek function works. The radio seeks to the next solid station. It would be great if only I could press a button and have it seek to the next clear frequency. Yes, I'd still then have to tune the radio to match, but that's not bad. It's the searching around for a free frequency that's painful.

5good alternative to full back bridge
By Katie W
I don't have the space for a full back bridge, and this item is light, portable and well made. I have used it for over a year, and would recommend it.However, I would advise working with a qualified Iyengar trained yoga teacher, to find the best ways to work with this. If you are very stiff, or new to yoga, you will need to modify at first.

5Like a work of art
By Yoga Light
I'm a yoga teacher. And I spent hours looking online for a quality backbender that wasn't complicated or too big. This back bridge was perfect. It is shaped like an arch and although it isn't very thick, it can sustain body weight. Well, probably not if you stand and jump on it!!!The wood is beautiful and the piece stands alone as an art piece - seriously. It's beautiful.Compared to other back benders, this one was light weight, easy to move around, solid piece of crafted wood, designed to fit the spine, sturdy and not so expensive. If you have a tight back due to stress, poor posture, stiffness - you might want to try this back bender. You can feel everything stretching out and releasing the pressure.Of course, it isn't meant to substitute for going to a doctor if you have pain. But if you just have tension in the back, it would do the trick - even if you just used it for 2 to 5 minutes a day.Peace.

5Excellent Drive for the Lower End PCs
By Santeria
Some versions of this 100 GIG drive have a bonus 20 GIG. At the price advertised, its a very good dollar per GIG ratio. I added this to a DELL Dimension 8100, and it worked superbly. If you get either the standard 100 GIG ATA, or the one with the bonus 20, if you use the utilities on the CD with the Drive, then you will get the most available space on this drive. The best thing about the CD is that if needed, it will adjust the Registry when required( In the case of most units,PCs-computers, currently sold, anything under 137 GIG is perfectly useable).Your only manual adjustment is the jumper on the rear, and this is fully documented on the booklet with the drive. If you want the 100 GIG as a new C drive, the best way( if you want to retain the image on the Current "C" Drive) is to place the drive in the second bay, boot up, then copy the system across ( either with the free XXCOPY software available on the internet), or use something like DRIVE IMAGE etc; I used XXCOPY, and before changing the drives, I made a full Boot disk so I could copy the system files across.A word about some additional software. Do NOT use Maxtor's DDO ( Dynamic Disk Overlay ) option in the MAXBLAST Software if you have both Partition Magic 7 or 8, as well as Norton Utilities Premier 2006. The probability of an issue with BOOT.INI and the HAL.DLL file is high. The good news is that using PFEDIT and then FDISK/MBR ( and no, thats not a typo... this switch works, and is not officially documented in MS windows TID's, technical info documents), which will change the Partition type from TYPE 44 to the type you need, if necessary, and also FDISK/MBR will rebuild the MBR( Master Boot Record).Like pretty much every MAXTOR I have used,it is extremely easy to install, and your decision is wether to use the ATA, or another variety of Maxtor. Whatever the case, if you need to, there are cards available, if you have a spare PCI slot, that make adding any type of drive, even more easier than could be believed. Whatever size system you have, if you need a Backup drive, MAXTOR has what I consider the best external drives outside of a LACIE. Actually, I love my Lacie External :-). Anything that can survive a move from a 240 Volt Power system to a 110, and theoretically back, as well as surviving LAX ( Los Angeles International Airport) Security, where they do all but Punt your drive through security, is a sturdy device in my view.MAXTOR and LACIE .... What a Team !!!!!!!!!!!!

5A great jigsaw!
By Kermit Howell
I really like this jigsaw! I've been using a Bosch jigsaw, and while it is a very good jigsaw I never really warmed up to it. When Dewalt brought out the DW331K I looked it over and decided to try it. I'm glad I did. First I like the quick, easy, no tool blade change. I far prefer the lever type system that Dewalt uses to the spinning knob system that Bosch uses. Every time I changed blades on the Bosch and the knob snapped when it locked the blade in it always felt like something had just broken. Also another feature that I'm really happy with is the dust blower on the Dewalt. It works! The dust blower on my Bosch has never worked well at all. I also like Dewalt tools because they appear to be of good quality, and sensibly built. I may keep the Bosch as a backup, but when it comes to a jigsaw the Dewalt DW331K is my weapon of choice.

3Beware
By T. Sheffield
I have used a Dewalt jig saw many times before with excellent results. This led me to buy one of my own. I chose the DW331K because of its power and especially for the ability to do bevel cuts without either an allen wrench or a screwdriver to make the adjustment. I also liked the toolless blade change and that is where the problem lies. The arm that is the pivot point for the blade release is extremely thin where the pivot point is. As a result, in very short order this little arm broke. This renders the saw unusable until it is repaired. After this happened I used a co-workers same saw that he got because he liked mine so much. When he tried to change the blade the same thing happened to him. This was within several hours of mine breaking. Coincidence? No. It would appear to be a design flaw. The pivot point should have been beefed up or a stronger material used. It appears to be some sort of white metal casting. At least the bevel adjustment works great so far. I'm not sure if I would buy another knowing what I know now and I have many Dewalt products. We'll see how they treat their customers now. This is now six months later and I must downgrade my previous rating to one star. After spending shipping money to have the saw fixed under warranty it has broken again in exactly the same way. It has also developed the loose bevel adjustment lever that others have spoken about. This problem however can be fixed with an allen wrench on the bottom of the saw but if you make it too tight it makes it difficult to move the lever; it must be just right. This saw is more of a headache than it is worth so now I will be purchasing a Bosch as the one that I have used in the past is great with none of the headaches of the Dewalt....I hope. Well here we are more than a year later. The blade clamp/release has broken for a third and final time. This saw is a total piece of junk. I have had enough of Dewalt altogether. I purchased the Bosch with quick blade release and simple bevel adjustment and so far it is far superior to the Dewalt. From now on I will ignore Dewalt and stick with Makita and Bosch as they seem to actually hire engineers to design their tools.

5Great Saw, but takes some playing with
By J. Eklund
I have had this saw for about 8 months now, and I have to say that it has been great. I haven't used it as much as some other people may in that time, but it's been very handy when I've needed it. When I first received this item, it seemed to have scratches on it. The blade also fell out when I went to use it. I sent it back to Amazon, who was completely awesome about the return, and received a new one. When I got the new one, I opened the box and was shocked to see some of the same scratches on the saw that the one I sent back had. When I went to use it, I noticed the same bevel problems that others have stated- even at 0 the bevel would slide under pressure. Since the jig saw is the kind of tool you lean on a little when you use it, this was unacceptable. I called Amazon and got a third saw- figuring 3 strikes and you're out.The third saw came, and there weren't as many "scratches". It appears upon closer inspection, that what I saw may have just been marks from the case. I started using the saw a little more and noticed something interesting. The shoe moved not only in a beveled left/right motion, but also front to back. The arm to release the shoe would give some pressure no matter what, and appear to hold the shoe in place until I put pressure on it. On inspecting the motion more closely- I realized that the shoe is designed to have the arm unlocked, then you pull back the shoe, set the bevel, push it forward to click it into place, and then lock the arm. It is VERY easy to miss this "push forward" step and then the shoe would not lock. Once it's done right though, the shoe is unmoveable. My mistake- I am glad I figured it out though. I'm not sure if this would solve other's issues with the bevel not staying in place on this saw, but I think it may.The next issue is the blade falling out. This happened to me a few times, and I finally figured this one out too. The blade goes in very firmly. You also have to have the lever all the way open to get it in all the way. Once it's in, you release the lever and pull the blade down to check it (please do this with the saw unplugged). You will feel how firm it is in there. As one other reviewer mentioned- you have to play with it a little to get the feel for it.And finally- put good quality blades on this thing. The blades it comes with are sub-par. I bought a nice set of Bosch blades for something like $10 and they are far superior. Match the blade to the intended use. You'll be suprised at the difference it makes. Using inferior blades I couldn't cut square or smooth. With the bosch blades on this thing- I am amazed at how smooth things are. I do wish I could cut a little straighter with it- but I am pretty inexperienced with the jigsaw, and one end of the blade does roam freely, so some motion is to be expected. I have cut counter tops, pine, and maple with this thing though and everything comes out perfectly as long as you're careful. All in all, I would give this 4.5 stars due to the fact that it came scratched because the case isn't designed "pefectly" (although I'd rather they give a great tool and an OK case than an OK tool and a perfect case), the fact that it comes with inferior blades, and the fact that you have to master a couple of tricks to overcome the complaints others have mentioned. However, I am thrilled with the purchase now and love the tool- I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. One last note- when I was searching I was looking between this saw and the Bosch 1790EVSK. I decided to break from the pack and go with the Dewalt. I just liked the way it felt in my hand better. Personal choice. I am sure the Bosch is also a great saw and since I've never used it I can't compare directly. However, I can't imagine it is perfect, or that much better than the Dewalt. If I was buying again- I know it would come down to the Bosch or the Dewalt and I would go to a store and hold each tool and pick the one I thought felt better. Maybe I'd be shocked if I used a Bosch- but I think that many of the Bosch users may be shocked if they gave the Dewalt a shot too.

5decent set!!!!
By Geno
This is a very complete set. Quality is excellent. I put these on my I/R 2135 with confidence. Compare Sunex to other more expensive brands, you will not be disappointed.

5Quality tools, undervalued
By Matt Wiggles
Ive been using this set for a while now. They are very high quality tools, and simply impossible to beat for the price. It would be nice if they set included a couple extensions and some 1/2-3/8 adapters, but those are all available separately (also for a very good price). Would highly recommend!

5best 18v jig
By Ronald B. Ruiz
I have owned the bosch 18v jig saw and was very unhappy with it.Jigsaws need to do one thing better than any other saw: cut curves and corners. The new dewalt jig is phenominal in all respects, its blade guidance system allows for the tightest curves I have ever cut with a jig saw and that includes the corded models.this thing will cut 2" circles inside a 2x4!! and the plug will go in and out from both sides meaning the cut was perfectly perpendicular. I am a loyal milwaukee user but they don't provide a cordless jig so I bought this one.The power is excellent the balance is near perfect and the keyless shoe is great, best jig saw I have ever used and I am a pro.only down I can say is the blade does not really fall out when you pull the release lever, you need to pull it out, no biggie.

5No second battery? ... So
By HG fan
The DC330K is a great cordless tool. Several other reviewers have sung the praises of this saw so I won't.I sometimes wonder if reviewers who bemoan the lack of a second battery with some of DeWalt's cordless tools think about what it is that they are complaining about. DeWalt (or any other cordless mfg) is not going to 'give' you a second battery at no cost (unless its a promotional offer, which sometimes happens). The product specs say you can cut 50' of 3/4" material on a charge! Apparently, since I have not had occassion to 'kill' a battery yet, I have never exceeded this total. The average user would rarely need a second battery. This tool falls into 'special use' catagory and should never be considered as someone's 'primary' saw on a project. Fifty feet of curved, circular, or straight cuts is a lot of running feet! If, on occassion, you think you are going to be cutting more than 50', schedule other project work to do while the battery recharges and save yourself some $. These batteries are not cheap! If you are doing more than 50' worth of continuous cuts on a regular basis, you are doing production-type work and you should buy a second (possibly a third) battery. For the average homeowner even with a workshop, one battery should do it. The addition of a second battery would raise the cost of this high quality, already expensive tool significantly higher and possibly out of the reach of many homeowners with tighter budgets.Besides, if you have already or are in the process of adding cordless tools to your inventory you probably have 'extra' DeWalt 18v batteries anyway. If so, DeWalt adding a second battery to this package would be a moot point.A note and a word of caution: If you have extra batteries, Amazon's third party store Max Tool offers a good selection of DeWalt 'bare tools' without batteries or chargers at substantial savings. However, reading the available specs for the jig saw offered (MaxTool provides no model #) it appears to be the old model, less powerful DW933K which has 4-star average and some owner related problems... so be sure you know what you are buying.

5Great Saw
By Electrical Guy
I have several Dewalt 18V tools and just got this one. Nice to always have a couple of charged batteries ready. It's a great saw and cuts really strong. Nice and compact, especially compared to my Bosch corded saw. Dust blower is better than average. When I use a jigsaw the cord always seems to be in the way or getting snagged on a corner. Blade holder seems very strong and stable. One note...it accepts T-shank blades ONLY.

5Great case and super great bargain!
By C. Singh
This is a fantastic case!!! Very durable and much lighter than my previous wood/laminate flight case and no sharp edges either. I fit 2 Crown XTi power amps, a Furman strip and a BBE sonic Maximizer in there with ease and did I mention how light it is? It comes with a lifetime guarantee from SKB which states in plain English that if you ever break it, they'll fix it!!!

5The perfect case for my mobile communications station.
By Eric R. Wooster
After looking at various rack cases, selected this model since it had rails on both the front and the back. Case is sturdy, well built and easy to handle. With two Raxxess UNS1 trays, all my radio equipment fits easily and is well protected from dust and dirt. Lids are deep enough to allow radio knobs to protrude a bit in the front without damage. Very happy with this unit and looking forward to purchasing a 2U or 3U unit for another amateur radio station.

5Only SKB
By Geoffrey D. Hoffman
Don't waste your time with limitation products. SKB makes some of the best road crates on the market, and this one is just as sturdy and durable as my 15 year old 12-U rack.
