High Quality Light That Works Great In The Rainy Pacific Northwest

By high quality I mean sturdy construction with aluminum housing and stainless bolts holding everything together. The glass plate is a nice thickness where it won't break easily if you happen to drop it (from a short distance onto grass/dirt). That front glass plate is nicely weather sealed too. If you do have to replace a bulb, (and I haven't in 4 years) the 2 stainless bolts just have to be loosened and the plate flips up. They even thought to construct it so that the stainless bolts don't come all the way out. This will prevent you from losing them if you are 15ft in the air and start dropping things.I've had these for 4 years now covering the outside of my home on the Oregon coast. If you aren't familiar with this area, just imagine some of the rainiest, windiest area possibly for about 8 months out of the year (Winter, Fall, Spring).They are very bright (300 watt version). Two of them on each corner of my home pretty much lights up the entire yard. I love it....If you have trees somewhat close that would move around in bad wind, they would likely be set off. I'm guessing withing 30-40 ft. If that bothers you, just turn them off for that night. I just leave them on all the time.They have 2 adjustments. One allows you to set how long they stay on; I believe minimum is 10sec. and max is 5 (maybe 10) minutes. The 2nd allows you to adjust how sensitive you want it before it turns on. I have it turned all the way down so that it only comes on at night.Small dogs will set them off. I'm not sure if something as small as a squirrel would turn it on; I doubt it. Early this morning (about 5 a.m.) my front light was set off in my front yard. I was sleeping on the couch and saw it. Upon opening the blinds I see a beautiful deer about 20 feet away from the sensor eating on my lawn.I've tried the cheaper route with motion sensor lights. Those wireless solar lights are pretty much garbage (and not very bright). I had been using the Mr. Beams wireless lights before that. Actually, I still have a few of those in my garage and oddball areas around the house. They are o.k. but you will be replacing them after a year or two. They aren't very bright either. If cost is an issue, then those might be an alternative for you.

Easy as replacement

Installation was easy as a replacement light. I would have called a real electrician for a new installation. I replaced both front & backyard lights; backyard has trees close to house so lights go on & off in moderate to high winds. It took a little diddling over several nights to get the adjustments right, but not bad. Lights have only been up for a month, so don't know about longevity yet.

you will only need a dab for entire face and neck, so in that sense it is good value for money (will last you a year).however, i recommend you ask for a tester before you buy the whole thing.i found out it irritates my skin pretty bad only after i bought it :(. no rash, no redness, just "itchy" feeling that lasts all day.really annoying and too bad for me.

Expensive but worth the price.

I almost faint every time I have to reorder this product due to its cost, but I continue to order it as it is quite simply one of the best face creams on the market. As its name implies, La Prairie's Cellular Radiance Cream imparts luxurious texture to the face and leaves the skin not only moist but with a radiance that makes your complexion look years younger. Too bad they don't give a rebate on the used jars; that might defray the initial cost of the product just a bit!!! Love it!

Good fit for my use at home

This is my second unit. There are two of us in our home office and I've used my UPS for a couple of years with no problems. We recently had extreme winds that took out our power and my system was fine. My partner's printer was fried when the power came back on. This model is a good size and provides good protection

Working Great So Far

There are a lot of power fluctuations and electrical storms where I am so I have 2 UPS units, this being one of them. So far, it works awesome and has been for months. Good beginner banjo deal!

I bought this beginner banjo kit for my best friend, and she loves it! It's obviously not supurb quality like a $3000.00 one, but it's a perfect learner banjo. The sound is pretty darn good. And, the banjo is beautiful! That it comes with a strap, pitch pipe, and even a case makes it an even greater deal. The only problem is that if you're not sure about wanting the banjo, you will have to pay for shipping, plus shipping to send it back, plus a 25% restocking fee, which will end up that you have paid about $100.00 for nothing! SO, make sure you really want it!! I highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to learn how to play banjo but doesn't have thousands of dollars to spend on it. Have fun!

After a year of use, still going strong.

I bought this banjo about a year ago, and use it on a consistent basis. The Banjo itself plays well, and has a great classic sound. The resonator is surprisingly sturdy for the cost, and creates a powerful twang.This instrument stays in tune surprisingly well, just be sure to set the floating bridge correctly (this can be tricky, and you might want to use a local music shop to get it right).The soft case is cheap, and my zipper has already failed. I'm giving 5 stars to the instrument, not the case (which I would give 2 stars).The strap is fine, but I usually play without it.Things you'll want on top of this kit:A few extra sets of strings- these are surprisingly cheap, and these skinny strings break pretty easy.A clip on tuner- the pitch pipe works ok, but tuning the high-register notes by ear is difficult. This is the tuner I use, and it works like gang-busters:http://www.amazon.com/Snark-Instrument-Clip-On-Chromatic-Tuner/dp/B003VWKPHCFinger picks- most banjo players use them, and it gives a cleaner sound than using your fingertips. There are metal and plastic finger picks, use whatever works best for you.YouTube videos- there are videos on all sorts of techniques out there. 1st Bag was great, second order was a mess!

I don't know which oder this is so I will review both. The first bag came in a sturdy box and was delivered by UPS up stairs and on a table on my deck. This is really an accomplishment because the delivery man had to walk through snow! I'm an old lady so I couldn't lift the 50 lb bags into my house so I transfered the rice into FDA approved 5 gallon buckets so I could used it as necessary.I was really pleased with the first purchase and wanted to take advantage of the reasonable shipping and great delivery. The second box looked sturdy until I opened the box and was greeted with the sound of rice falling on my deck, especially in the groved between the boards. The box had some damage but the bag inside was completely open at the top. You can imagine, this did not make my day.Of course I contacted Amazon.com in order to contact the seller, who was Honeywell. I explained the situation and within a day I received a reply offering to replace or refund. You can't ask for a more responsible seller. I will, for sure order from Honeywell again. Their rapid response is the reason for the five stars.
