Pretty Awesome

This duster is great. I'm 6 feet tall, about 155 pounds, and a size Small fit just great on my trim frame; it didn't swamp me like a lot of costumes usually do, which made it look less like a cheap costume and more like the real deal. It definitely completes the outlaw costume I was putting together. 5 stars!

Really nice quality...

I took a big chance on this...as you can see, the picture is horrible. And I dare you to try and find a higher quality image on the internet.But...the duster is of exceptional quality. Even sized correctly. Great "pleather" material...truly can pass for leather. I bought this for a Halloween costume (Spike from Buffy The Vampire Slayer). I'm actually tempted to wear this jacket out in public on an average day. If there is a downside to it, it is that it has no pockets and must be handwashed.

Couldn't tell from the picture, but it's exactly what I wanted

In one sentence: The duster exactly what I needed for my costume and their return policy in case it wasn't what I wanted is a breath of fresh air compared to most costume companies.I really didn't know what to expect based on the only picture available of the Gunslinger Range Rider duster. I'm much shorter than most men, so I didn't think even the Small size would fit, but it turns it out that it's practically the perfect length.The costume I was working on was Blade the Vampire Hunter (from the Marvel comics and Blade movies), but I couldn't find any trenchcoats around town that would look much like the character and that weren't ridiculously expensive - the ones that were expensive were more like the kind people would wear for real on the streets in New England, whereas I was looking for a coat that would serve me for a party or two.Real leather didn't matter to me, and neither did features that would actually keep me dry in the rain, so this costume was all I needed to get that leather look (it is made of pleather) without paying for all these features I really didn't need. It fit well, and it had the exact leather trenchcoat feel I was going for without being insanely overpriced. Great find.

Meh.

If you're looking for a real duster, don't skimp by getting this. The proportions are all wrong, and while it does fit in the shoulders, the waist is skewed if you attempt to button it. With about three hours of alterations this may work, but in the end it will have taken more time than it would have to actually do it right with a real duster. Oh well.

Worked out great...

This coat is more a trench coat than a traditional duster, but it works just fine, looks reasonably like leather, and wasn't coming apart or anything while it was being used.I bought this for my daughter, who went as a detective for Halloween, and she liked it. She is going to use it later for a female Harry Dresden costume later on, so it works out fine. We bought the larger one, despite my daughter being quite petite, for its extra length and so it was from Amazon. =) The oversized coat worked fine and wasn't really all that wide through the shoulders so it fit her fine but gave her more overall volume, which suited her fine, as she didn't want anything real tight.As a whole, I'd say I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

surprisingly good quality

I modified this coat for a guy who needed a costume more Repo Man: The Genetic Opera. I was pleasantly surprised by the fabric weight vs. the cost. I expected very cheap, very destructible and I got so much more than that. Very affordable and it took all the rivets and straps like a dream. I might have to get one for myself. It's no wonder the men's coats were all sold out when I looked. Luckily the women's coat wasn't that womanly. ^_^

An Excellent Choice for Any Application

As I previously reviewed the 6" KC Daylighters, I'll repeat the same comments here.After much debate and shopping around for off-road lights for my Toyota FJ Cruiser, I decided to go with the KCs. All of the major brands of conventional (Non-HID) off-road lights, Hella, Piaa, KC, etc, run around the same price. Amazon has about the best prices anywhere on the web for these lights, and with free super saver shipping, they have the other vendors beat.I have had KC lights before and I am very pleased with these. The construction and materials are very high quality, and you can't beat KC's warranty. KC has individual replacement parts readily available if you should happen to need them. (You probably never will unless you physically hit one and break it) Although the product is made in Taiwan to KC's specifications, KC Corporation is based out of Williams, Arizona, and is a well established, American company.These lights will be mounted on the front bumper/grille area as a compliment to my rooftop mounted 6" KC Daylighters.You will be very pleased with these or any other KC products.

Great lights

I have the 800 driving lights. They are great and put out the amount of light I like driving in the country. They light up the road like advertised. I am now looking at buying the long range lights. These lights are big, but not too big for the front of a Ford F250 grill. I also hve Kc's light bar on the front. All have excellent quality. Easy instructions.

cool safe fin

used on my kite board, reduced risk of serious injury. sometimes take nasty fall, and have a good friend that was cut badly by a regular fin through his wetsuit. don't note much difference on perfromance myself, but your mileage may vary. Perhaps a tad slower, but works for me.
