By Eric Tang
This is a great product, I work out of my home most of the time. I have the same problem some of reviewer had when they turn on the home office systems all at the same time, that is, most UPS will shut down, when you have a very powerful computer, big monitor, an all in one laser MFC plus a laser printer. Or when you wake up a laser MFC or a laser Printer, the UPS shuts down, because the equipment needs that extra juice to warm up. None of other UPS that I purchase before can handle the power needs, unless you pay over $1,000 for UPS. That is the main reason I purchase this product. I did not think about the NEMA 5-20R until I got the unit. I took a look at the plug and realized that I do not have an outlet to plug it into. For those of you that do not understand NEMA 5-20R Receptacle. It means that you need a 20 AMP outlet that looks like the second picture from the left. If you do not have an outlet that looks like that. You need to call an electrician to install a 20 AMP outlet. In the long run, it is cheaper to buy this unit vs buying two or three UPS, because it really drain the life out of the small UPS batteries. It is also not worth replacing the batteries, because the replacement batteries die out after one year. I know, because in the past, I have one UPS for one machine. I just realized that Amazon sells Conntek 1F515520 1-Foot 15-Amp to 20-Amp Power Adapter Cord NEMA 5-15P to 5-15/20R 1F515520. So you do not need to hire an electrician to install an 20 Amp outlet. They should have a link when you view this ad.

By Justin E. Hester
I had been looking for a UPS to use with my home system. I'm running a full size tower with 1000 Watt PSU, 20" LCD and All-in-One Inkjet so needed something that wasn't going to overload the second that power went out or the printer ran a page. This fit the bill very nicely and as mych as I would have liked to have gone with something with twice the capacity, I couldn't bring myself to spend $1000+ so this made a perfect choice for my needs. It works beautifully and matches all the other black components I use in my home office.

By Joshua J. Dotson
I bought this UPS for my high powered Alienware game pc & its been working great. I neded it for when the power goes out I'll have enough time to close everything out correctly without it messing my pc up. I did have to buy a 20 watt plug adapter, I bought mine at Home Depet for around $6 tax & shipping. It took seconds to hook up & haven't had any problems the close to 2 months I've been using it, I've used other lower watt UPS's before but this a must have if you have a high powrered game pc that you spent a lot for & don't want it to mess up with the power going out in the middle of you gaming.
