Great All Around Shoe/Boot

This is a great product. They look nice with all types of jeans and khakis. The sizes run a little big. I ordered a size 12 and probably would have been good in an 11 or 11 1/2.Overall very satisfied. Will probably order another pair.

Very comfortable

I recently bought these shoes and I've been very impressed. It's important to note that these shoes don't have much arch support- steer clear if you need arch support. The beeswax coated variety break in nicely and look great. I would recommend treating them with some sort of a shoe rub similar to the Dr. Marten's creme or LL BEAN duckboot cream. These shoes are my favorite pair after only a few days and will remain there for years. My roommate has had a pair of Clarks for years and has no complaints either.

Great footwear, highly recommend

Bought my husband a pair of these ten years ago on a whim. His favorite pair of sandals - and I have to say - he has abused them! Since they were his only sandal, he got them wet, wore them hiking, wore them traveling abroad, - basically everything. Bought him a pair of Keens for the camping/wet/hiking times and he likes the Keens, but still wants to wear his Clarks! So, when I caught him trying to glue the sandals in the garage, I knew it was time for a new pair. Honestly, they are still wearable after ten years and all the abuse! Amazing...he loves the style, comfort and fit. Will go with anything they wear...highly recommend, and I don't often write reviews.

Shoes forever

This is my third pair of Clarke Shoes. The first two pair were purchased within a week of the other and have lasted for 20 years. In fact, they are still good, the tops have faded and no longer have their color. I think the shoes would last another 10 years.As for confort, they have exceeded any expectations and are still very comfortable and servicable for work.

Very good pair of shoes

I was looking for a strong pair of shoes that would be worth investing in. Look no further. I trusted the 'Clarks' brand and i was duly rewarded. This shoe is waterproof to an amazing extent. It also has nice stitches on it that hold it together very well unlike other shoes which use glue. the insides are made for comfort and really take good care of your feet on long working / active days...I can attest to that, I'm a high school teacher.

Not worth the money

Unfortunately, Bostonian too has cut back on quality. The previous pair I had owned kept me happy for several years and a couple soles. They were good Italian leather and held up very well to wear. This most recent pair are, of course, Chinese leather and they are of a noticeably lower quality for the same money. If you're willing to pay their price I recommend paying the extra $30.00 for Johnson and Murphy or $15.00 for the Florshiem.

Quality Shoes

I was looking for a good quality pair of shoes with leather soles. Leather sole shoes are getting harder and harder to find in stores. The Bostonian line of shoes at Amazon.com filled the bill for me. They are excellent quality at an affordable price.

Great shoes!

I have a wide, relatively short foot with a high arch and have lots of problems finding high quality dress shoes that fit. Bostonians are the only quality shoes that fit me, so I have been loyal for the last decade. I can't find them in my area, so Amazon is the only channel I use to get them.
