One to Watch

Have had my Arctura Kinetic for about a month now. I like it a lot.The band adjustment was quite easy and the clasp mechanism is elegant and easy to use without pinching the skin on your wrist.The design of the watch is what drew me to it and the quality of construction is Seiko through and through.The clock hands are a bit difficult to see in low light, but not impossible. The timer hands are also a bit difficult to see, being red against black. An interesting alteration would be to have the timer hands painted ochre yellow, which might and to the high tech look.Not sure why the timer only goes to 45 minutes, but as a radio commercial producer I'm usually working in 60-second bites anyway.

Its worth every penny

I bought this watch 20 days back and it's simply great. You will love this watch. I have all friends ask about the watch from the day one and its looks cool and elegant.Only problem is that the steel get scratched very soon, especially the metal clasp on the strap looks messy after lots of tiny scratches.Note: There is no skeleton case back that lets you see the watch's inner mechanics. This is wrong information on the product description.Apart from these things, this will be a great buy, I fully recommended this.

Perfect watch

This is a very sporty and classy watch.Don't hesitate to buy this item.Only thing is, since the strap is rubber, once you adjust the strap size for your wrist, you can't readjust it.(keep that in mind)I'm getting a lot of compliments about this watch.

The good and the bad...

Bought this from Amazon as they were offering one of the best prices as well as i liked the design.The good:Its shiny! Want a little bling without breaking the bank? this CAN be it.Light watch, i even own a Articura which is heeeavy (also my favorite watch - I own 3 Seikos)Easy to use/read timelooks quite stylishI have it for 2+ years, other than a battery change, no problems _at all_The bad:Theres just one thing that really bugs me about this watch and hence the low rating, you cant see it in the picture/s of the watch but the rotating bezel looks and feels like a cheap plastic piece (of...).From a distance you cant make it out so well, but come into talking distance with a person and you can.A real pity really, because other than that one point that spoils the whole package to a certain degree, this would be a fantastic little timepiece.

Seiko watch

Watch came just as expected! I bought it for my fiance and he LOVES it! He's gotten a lot of compliments on it. Also, he's not really technical, but the watch is fairly easy to navigate... If you have the manual, of course. The watch looks just like it did in the picture and it arrived on time, exactly when it said it would. Love this watch!

Nice looking watch, typical Seiko high quality fit & finish. Bracelet and bezel have solid feel. My only complaint is that it's hard to read the time at a glance. The silver/chrome hands do not have enough contrast with the dial. Also while the lume is bright, the amount on the hands & face is so little that it's hard to read at night. I expected more lume from a 200m sport/diver style watch. This is kind of a hybrid sport/dress style. It works well and keeps good time, but it needs to be easier to read quickly. Maybe I'll get a Black Monster.

Perfect gift

I bought this as an anniversary present and was stunned at the high level of quality. The watch face is mother-of-pearl and catches the light so many different ways, and the diamonds catch light in still others. The silver case offsets well with the black band with all of the light bouncing around. I love seeing it on my partner's wrist, cause I know that I got a great deal on a great piece of quality jewelry.

Cute, could be better.

I was searching for an oversized women watch and got this one.I like the size of the watch but face itself could be bigger for my taste (just the face 26 mm, with the crown it is 39mm). The look is clean and sharp.It doesn't look cheap.For the price I appreciate scratch resistant sapphire.This is lightweight watch, and thanks to mother of pearl (pink and blue reflections in the sun) it looks feminine.For me the watch would be perfect if:- the case could be thicker, I believe it's only 8mm and I'd prefer 10-12; as an oversized women watch it feels flat,- I'd prefer white dial instead of mother of pearl (or an option) so it looks more unisex,- the leather bracelet is short! I have a 6" wrist and only 3 holes left for bigger wrists, it feels too short and the clasp is not at the center of the wrist.Anyway nice looking watch, but I was looking for more substancial one and went with Michael Kors MK5076 and I'm loving it every minute. This is what I wanted. I might change the bracelet for black just to have similar to Seiko look sometimes, see if that works.Btw, the seller global777watches shipped item very next day (upgraded to expedited Priority Mail) and it was great with the refund (quick answer on the weekend and the refund processed the day they received the watch back).

Nice watch but received defective!

I bought this watch as a gift for my wife after reading excellent reviews about it. This watch looks nice but it doesn't feel like a $200 worth! the stainless steel shine looks cheap and is different from the item picture provided here. the band leather is also not that good. in addition, I received mine with a visible indentation/scratch on the outter diameter of stainless case and will definitely return it.

Striking watch to wear for a lifetime

I own 12 watches and this is by far my favorite. This is a very sharp looking, modern watch for those of us who like Prada, Brooks Brothers and Jil Sander dressing...it looks like a combination of modern jewelry and a high tech watch..kind of a Casio meets Movado.If someone likes more feminine clothes, is petite and girly, this is most certainly not the watch for them. But, for someone like me, who likes more of an elegant/unisex look, it is a watch to wear for a lifetime.

BEAUTIFUL & ELEGANT

My husband just purchased this watch for me, and I couldn't be happier with it. The diamonds give it enough sparkle without being too gawdy, the mother of pearl dial has a beautiful, irridescent hue, and the burgundy strap gives it a little punch of color--- I LOVE IT! You put all those ingredients in a Seiko watch and you've got a sporty, chic, elegant watch with a trusted name. I highly recommend it!
