Waterman says it all.

I fell in love with fountain pens in High School. Then they were very inexpensive cartridge fed Schaeffers. Years go by and chance has me in an associates office. He is writing with a Waterman. Discussion ensues and he convinces me Waterman were a bump up from MT Blanc. Christmas time comes by and I bought my wife a Waterman Fountain Pen and Roller Ball set for a lot of money. I bought myself a Hemisphere for about $50. My wife kept the rollerball, but the fountain pen was not suited to her work. I got her fountain pen and mine. Hers stayed home and mine went with me EVERYWHERE! It took such a beating. Ultimately I lost them both, and have just purchased a new Hemisphere. Meet the new pen same as the old pen. They write, they write and they keep on writing. Smooth ink flow, no skipping and the feel in your hand when you write is exquisitely heavy and sensual. I am a verbose person; but, writing with my Waterman always seems to bring forth a few more words than I needed to or intended to say. I can not comprehend spending $100's of dollars on a fabulous fountain pen because I am unable to fathom my words flowing any more smoothly and exquisitely, even with my pitiful penmanship, from another instrument for any amount of money.Waterman says it all!

Horrible

Skips all the time. I adjusted the nib and even took apart the feed to make sure all the channels were clean and cut through, but a bad pen is a bad pen. I heard others say theirs worked well for them. Mine sucked from the get-go. However, messing with the feed and nib helped it out a little. But it's still not a reliable writer. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND (not to mention the lacquer easily chips off and reveals the copper or bronze underneath which happened to my rollerball version of this pen).

I received this pen in less than a week from France. It comes beautifully boxed, and looks just like the photo. The description here says it doesn't come with an ink converter (to use bottled ink), but mine came with one cartridge of black ink and also a converter. ? The pen feels lovely and solid, but not heavy, and the fine point writes like a breeze. I'm delighted with my purchase.

Nice power, when it works...

I've been using this amp for my two 10" Sony Xplod subs and they hit HARD. No complaints with sound or inadequate power but about a month ago it started having problems. Everytime i turned my car off it blew a fuse. The people at circuit city knew enough to tell me it was the amp and not the wires but they didn't have the equiptment to invesigate further so now im out $200 and have two killer subs that i can't use...

I bought this about 3 months back, and not only was Amazon great to work with, but i couldnt find a lower price anywhere else on the internet.I have this amp hooked up to my 15" Kicker comp sub and it is beautifulThe specs for this amp match perfectlythe best feature of this Sony Xplod amp is the D-class circuitry - always cool to the touch! I've got it under the passenger seat. As a test, i ran it as hard as it would safely hit for about 1 hour straight...not even hot enough to make your hand uncomfortable!!so it works great, but the bonus comes with the looks...with a very slick design and a nice metallic color, it looks sharp in my 07 black Escape. i lucked out, too, because i installed interior blue neon lights that pulse to the bass and the monitor light on the amp is the exact same color.I havent blown anything yet or had any problems with it so far...great product

CAN U SAY S.P.L ??

To all looking to buy this amp. My two bits.When i ordered this amplifier i bought it with my hard earned bonus around xmas 2005. I was in the market for a monoblock amp as i never had one and i was always borrowing others on time share haha.I searched all of amazon for an amp that was good looking, cost optional and of course had to balance power with cost. when i came across this amp i was like ok let's try this. I already had 2 Audio pipe 10's at 250rms each and an xplod Deck.So i decided to marry the two together with a boss digital eq.I dare say i was soulfully dissapointed when i first hooked it up. Now obviously someone is going to say (i new this was sh***) but you have to read on.I really was hurt because i had one 10 on the wires and it sounded good mind u and i had a reggae cd i just burn all 90%+ bass to test this sucker.So sun fall sun rise. I opened the back of the car took the sucker out went for the manual are scanned the pics........At one point i looked up to the sky and said rightt......Volume..!!!Man look.........i had the amp at standard(settings on shipping)I went and got me a valipet screw driver and turned the bit*** up.NOWWW....we talking. That sony is hot........it's heavy no fooling, don't even THINK about stuffing it under chair because if you run it hard it WILL get hot....... I am in love with the phone line remote level control. Tt's beautiful. at night espeically because the blue that it emits blends back with my blue seats and interior. My best friend wanted to buy it the moment it landed in my hands and i am so darn glad i chose not too. I am only sorry it doesn't get below 40hz. Other wise it's bloody shaking. If you can set your reciever to mono like my explod can do it and then you'll see.........4 stars mateI plan to take the whole set up down and rewire and do a final set up and retest with a bass cd and give you the results.chris

4 Bear Mini-Steps in Beige for dogs

I received the 4 doggie steps and I am so very happy with them! They are of the finest quality built and the carpet is extremely high quality. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has dogs or cats...my 3 minature dachshunds took to them right away and they match our bedroom perfectly. We have a very high bed and these are the only 4 steps out there that we have found that were absolutely wonderful and high enough for our needs. I am very "picky" in my taste and I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this product. CatPlay Co. delivered when promised too...within 2 weeks. Best Purchase Made for our Little Bear

Just pull the product out of the box and put it up against the bed. No assembly required. Within 30 minutes our 9 week old Toy Poodle was running up and down the stairs with no problems. This immediately solved our problem of him getting up and down to the bed with no injuries to his little legs. Would highly recommend this for a little dog. We just made this into a little game and using one of his toys, he followed it up and down the stairs. Although well built out of light wood, I would not recommend it for a dog larger then 25-30 pounds.

wood steps with carpeting

great for my dogs...other steps I found in stores were not nearly as solid as these...these are solid wood with carpeting over them. The slight side lip adds to their safety & seems to make ambivalent dogs feel more secure using them. I've had this same set for years (on my second set of dogs now!) and I purchased another set in another color for a second bedroom. For the difference in price, these steps are well worth the difference in quality over the ones found in most stores!

Although higher priced than many other option, this is a very high quality, sturdy, well-built product. The chimes are so beautiful. Not too loud, perfect. I really do love this clock. Keeps perfect time, looks great, no fuss like our old one that needed winding. We are completely satisfied with this lovely timepiece. Would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Just what I hoped for

I bought this clock to replace a 35-year-old wedding gift which was key-wound, and in need of a $185 repair. Even better than the old one, the chime volume level on this Seiko is adjustable and able to be turned off at night. The front does not open like on the old key-wound models, so the hands have to be adjusted from the back. My only "quality complaint" is about the piece of wood that closes the back. It is thin and rather cheap. with just a finger hole to remove it (to insert a battery, adjust chimes and time), instead of hinges. I am wondering if dust will make it's way into that hole and then have an effect on the workings. Still, for the price, great quality sound, keeps perfect time. I love it.

Seiko Wall Clock

I purchased this to replace a Seiko wall clock that I had for years and just expired. This clock is similar in shape to the old one but much better looking with the black and contrasting white and silvertone. It keeps perfect time and the moving pendulum adds to its good looks. I bought this and when it was delivered my wife really like the design and colors. We both are happy with this purchase.
