By John D. Harrigan
If the double-sleeves were only a bit wider and the pages able to lie a bit flatter, this would be a perfect cd case. (Another minor improvement might be to set the back pocket--where the cd goes--a bit higher than the front, so that one could slide the cd out easier.) That said, Slappa cd storage cases are easily the best cases on the market and this 360cd capacity behemoth is the grand daddy of them all. While obviously too big, bulky and heavy to carry in tow on a morning jog with your discman, this case is perfect for housing a large collection, allowing you to get rid of all those jewel cases and the large, space-consuming storage units they require. The case is also an ideal solution for long road trips, where smaller cases often leave audiophiles bored, due to their limited storage capacities, halfway to their destination. The case's construction quality is outstanding. Manufactured, surprisingly, in China, the case has a very sturdy, semi-hard shell that appears to be constructed out of rubber and vinyl. The patches of suede give the whole thing a very classy look. The carrying handle is solidly riveted to the case with leather fasteners. And the interior is lined with velvet. It also comes with a handy cd cleaning cloth. The pockets are made out of some special fabric that the company really talks up in their advertising. In this particular case it's not just hype. I haven't had any of my cd's scratched while inserting or removing them from their sleeves. This is surely the most important thing about this case. Many cheaper cases will slowly scratch up your discs, but so far this Slappa has kept them in pristine condition.Definitely worth the money--a Slappa case is a must own for music enthusiasts.

By Kevin Hawkins
I picked a couple of these up when I decided to finally do away with all of my bulky CD cases, and I'm very happy with them. It's sturdy yet light, which is nice when you're lugging around 180 CDs. It's also quite compact for its storage capabilities, which is a definite plus.A few minor things kept me from rating this as a five. First, all of the sleeves are permanently bound into the case; I'd really love it if the sleeves could be taken out and rearranged. Second, when you're at the front or the back of the case, it gets somewhat difficult to get liner notes and CDs into the slots closest to the binding, because the case itself gets in the way of your path in.I also think it's a little deceiving to say that this case can hold 360 CDs. I mean, technically that's correct. But in reality, of the two slots you get in a given section of a sleeve, one is in the front, fronted with a clear plastic sleeve, and the other is immediately behind it, with no visibility of what's in the slot. Sure, you could put CDs back there without liner notes or some other identification in front of them, but without some other outside means of cataloging the contents of your case, it's going to be impossible to know what's in there. Still, that may be acceptable to you, depending on your needs. I just think that the design of the case in that regard bears a little further explanation. All that said, I'm really happy with these cases. I use mine in the 180 CD configuration, with the CD liner notes in front, and it's great! I would certainly recommend it if you're looking to consolidate your CDs.

By Rafael Maishi
Overall the case is well made. Everything is joined by a cloth thread double stitch. The stiff molded outer case is sturdy and should protect the discs during normal use and the occasional drop to the ground. However with substantial force the case can be flattened - I would not recommend sitting on it (not that I have tried it). It is easy to transport. The discs are easy to insert. The material that holds the handle looks somewhat thin for its purpose. Each page has six disc storage sections, each made up of a cloth-like pocket and a second pocket attached to the front made up of a clear soft plastic. Each section can accomodate a disc and its insert or two discs. The case can accomodate 360 discs but it is really meant for 180 discs because when inserting more than 180 discs you will not be able to see the additional discs unless you remove them from the back pocket. That makes it time consuming and frustrating if you are at a party or gig and want to quickly locate a disc. It also forces you to unecessarily touch the discs. The case is sturdy, lightweight, compact and can accomodate a large number of discs which made it perfect for my needs.
