Product Description
This is a unique item. It's polished marble with an amazing wood grain. People will swear it's teak wood, but it is really marble. The interesting combination of materials makes for an elegant and sophisticated receptacle for the remains of a loved one. Most marble urns have seperate lids which have a tendancy to come loose and fall - and crack. We've addressed the issue of lids falling and breaking by carving this cremation urn from one solid piece of stone - and allowing access through the bottom. Sizing Made Simple. One pound of live weight equals one cubic inch of cremains. 3" = 3 cubic inches 7" = 87 cubic inches 11" = 205 cubic inches For example; A 175 pound person, would yield 175 cubic inches of cremains, which would fit into a 10" urn. A 35 pound terrier will yield 35 cubic inches of cremains, and would fit into a 6" urn.

The urn looked like it was supposed to, but I am disappointed with the bottom of it. The bottom isn't flat and therefore it doesn't sit completely flat.

Cremation Urn

I am very pleased with this tiny urn. It will hold my share of my beloved mother's ashes very nicely. It is just the right size to sit beside her picture in my curio cabinet and be safe from grandchildren and pets knocking it over. It is very beautiful and well designed and made. Thank you so much for providing such tiny urns. It makes it easier for my mother's ashes to be shared by all who loved her. (50 descendants).Again I am very pleased with the product and thank you.

This urn is absolutely beautiful. I had read some of the negative feedback and was worried that the urn wouldn't stand up perfectly straight, but it does. I love that it's a solid piece of marble with an extremely secure opening at the bottom. It is exactly what I'd hoped it would be, and my mother would have loved it.
