Product Description
This collapsible clothing rack comes with a removeable bottom shelf. It is strong enough to hold up to 250 lbs., but folds down to 5" high and fits in the trunk of a car or under a bed. The wire grid bottom shelf simply rests on the bottom frame and can be removed when not needed. The collapsible rack has a 48" hang rail with 12" extensions on each end - giving you 72" of horizontal hang space. It has 3 height adjustments - 55", 60" or 65". The rack is made with 1" O.D. chrome tubing and comes with 4" ball bearing casters. This rack is covered by our "no overload" guarantee. The "no overload" guarantee if for a period of 5 years and states that we will replace or repair any rack that bends, sags, breaks or ralls when used within the stated weight limitations under normal use conditions.

Excellent garment rack, but shelf is useless

The garment rack is excellent: it assembles easily and rigidly. It is sturdy and efficient. The pull-out rods at the ends add to the flexibility of the unit. However, the shelf is just a pair of wire grids that sit loosely on the rack, with no attachment or locking mechanism. The shelf grid is also too large for individual items like shoes, which can easily get stuck in the holes or fall off the edge.

very good for what i need it for

The garment rack is very sturdy and I really like the bottom shelf. My only concern was that when putting the top bar on, you have to be very careful or the side bars will slam into you. It would be better if once you put them in an upright position, that they would stay...difficult to put the upper bar in.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy and portable. I plan on purchasing another without the bottom rack. The one I received has a double bottom which I plan on separating and using on the second rack.
