Good Quality Receiver

Delivery was quick. Installation was a little tricky but that had more to do with the design of our Honda Civic than with the design of the receiver. I had to fish the attachment bolts through the frame and the openings on the drawing are much larger on paper than in reality, but they provided a fish wire and it was actually pretty easy to do. The receiver has a three point attachment: two bolts on the frame under the car and one at the towing hook. A very solid attachment. We had no problems towing a small trailer across the country.

something aint right

If this hitch were really made for an 05 honda civic, it probably would have been a 30 minute job like the directions say. Had to got get longer bolts and make spacers to get it to clear the trunck. Nobody has obviously ever tried to put it on this car because it won't go with out modifications. I was able to make it work by using mechanical aptitude and extra parts.

No drill required! Unboxed the hitch and installed it in less than 15 minutes. The hitch itself is hidden relatively well under the bumper which is very nice. I would recommend putting one on to anyone, regardless of mechanical experience. Product well made.
