The best company to make your scope

I just received a new FX-II 4X33 today in the mail from Leupold.I had the previous version of this scope made in 1977 on my rifle. After years of abuseit still worked like a champ. Then I dropped it in the water, fairly deep. It developed some fog,and I could barely see out if it.I called Leupold, they told me they stand behind their scopes 100%. I sent my old one in,and a few days ago a rep called and gave me a couple of options for replacing my old scope, free.Total turn around time from when I mailed it in from Alaska to getting a new scope in my mailbox:13 days during peak hunting season.Leupold is a legend in customer service, as well as reliability in the field. I would never buy anythingelse. Nothing is built to this quality, and no company stands behind their products like Leupold.Their factory is in Beaverton, Oregon. They employ great folks.This particular scope is rugged, simple, and at a reasonable price.What more could you ask for?

I received the scope a few days ago, the packaging was great as were the instructions. I mounted the scope on my bolt action rifle. As I'm not going to hunt at distances greater than 200 yds, a 4x fixed scope is probably the most efficient/best optics/lightest weight scope I could get. Even in the dawn, the optics were clear and bright. Sighting in was a snap, with a laser boresight I'd borrowed. In summary, this scope outperformed my expectations, which is always a good thing !
