Converted opener for 12' door

In spite of the reps from Chamberlain (who were obviously clerks reading from computer screens)telling me it couldn't be done, I lengthened one of their openers to operate a 12' garage door. The rail assembly is a touch less rigid than I'd like, but gets the job done. Why can't they just make a kit to do the job correctly? Anyway, as far as the extension, it works when used as intended. (I didn't)

the way it is built it is like you cant even tell it didnt come that way . all of the parts are exact fit, and it does a perfect job. easy to install for me and it is the first opener i have ever done !

pro: great price. including shipping.con: Having purchesed this exact opener extension before I expected it to be the same great design as before. I was disappointed to see the design change. The new design is a bunch of slide together tubing used in conjunction with the original OHDTrack. I have yet to install this opener
