Works exactly as you'd expect.

This device connects to your Aube thermostat via a two wire interface. It worked exactly as described, but I couldn't figure out how to use this with other equipment other than my thermostat. I also had to disable my answering machine - but I'm not sure if I could get both to work at the same time. I probably should have read the owner's manual a little further. All things said, this worked exactly as described and was easy to use.

My expectations were too high, thus I probably should give it a 5 star, it is not flexible for heating my vacation home, only can turn off and on at a preset temp...
