buckmasters 6/18x40 nicoplex scope

this scope is on a long range varment gun. its glass& accurracy is very good i will not hesitate to buy another buckmasters scope for any of my rifles.

When I ordered this scope, I was a little hesitant in the fact that 6x was my lowest setting. 3X always seemed to be the best and easiest for tracking movement. I mounted this scope on a Savage 12fv .22-250 and was simply amazed at how clear and bright the optics were. The side focus was right on the money for me. Tracking on 6x proved to be easy with a wide field of view and the generous eye relief was also a welcomed plus over a previous scope. This is my second Nikon Buckmaster scope(3-9x40 Buckmaster on my Savage 110 .270)and would not hesitate to spend a little extra and purchase the 6-18x40 again.

The cost price is high considering the closest focus distance is about +/- 50 yards. The pro are that it is clear and has a side focus and is a plus. The only improvement that I will advice is to add a locking ring to the eyepiece. Quality of made: Good. Other recommendation: Lower the price.
