Much help when scanning old books!

I can recommend this paper cutter with no reservations. After several months of heavy use, I have had no problems with it whatsoever. It works well and I find it easy to use. It's not cheap, but is very well constructed and I believe, well worth the extra money.What do I use it for?Old books bother my allergies, yet I love to read them. I intend to scan all of my books, and not have a single physical copy kept in my home. This device is a great help. I attend library fund-raising book sales ($1.00 for a full paper shopping bag of old books). After the hard covers are removed with a razor knife, my Premier Martin Yale 7000E Commercial Stack Paper Cutter produces stacks of pages with uniform width for my sheet-fed scanner. The scanner quickly converts them into folders of jpg images. I read the books on my personal computer. For a reader with allergies, this is great improvement.This cutter works for me and it can for you.
