Great boot, excellent value

This is a great work boot. Its comfortable and immedaitely flexible. As such, it needed little break in time before it fit like a glove. The quality of the leather and construction of the boot is first rate. The heavy duty, lugged sole provides excellent tractionTwo notes: 1) the boots tend to run LARGE so if you are unsure, order the smaller size... 2) the sole is somewhat slippery in oil until well broken in. The new sole is hard and needs to be broken in before good oily traction is gained

The Caterpillar Men's Colt Steel Toe Work Boot is the most compfortable steel toed work boot I have had in ten years, the fit is perfect, possibly a little wider than other popular brands but thats exactly what i needed.Pros: Comfortable, look good, fit well, I walk a lot in my job on hard concrete/blacktop surfaces, other boots the laminated heels are worn to the nails in a couple months, we will see later how this one stands up (solid one piece heel)Cons: The top could be 1 inch taller and a little more room to put your foot in.Highly reccomend this boot.Well here it is over a year later since the purchase and the Cat boots are doing just fine, still compfortable, the soles and heels are wearing very very good during almost constant walking on blacktop and concrete. One could simply not find a better boot!!!
