Product Description
Features the "Rockloc" assisted opening mechanism, designed by custom knifemaker Ricky Moser. While opening the blade, using the thumbstud, partially push the blade out and the "Rockloc" takes over and opens the blade for you. The handle is CNC machined 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, with an anodized finish, non-slip magna grip inserts and a stainless steel pocket clip. The blade is CryoEdge treated, 440 stainless steel.

BUT: Beware Wrong Picture

This is a picture of a set of Samurai swords, not a knife. Bud K: Please replace picture! You can see the knife itself on the landing page at shopeti dot com who distributes this discontinued item to collectors. Buying on Amazon is great but be sure you know what you're getting.Also, the "manufacturer" is not Bud K-- Bud K is a reputable distributor, but this knife was made in China for United Cutlery for Colt before their first bankruptcy, under license for the Colt name. ETI bought out the remaining inventory during the reorganization. United is back in the saddle now but Colt is being more discriminating about lending its name to knives, so this is indeed a collector's item.I agree with the previous review that this knife isn't worth more than about $30 compared to similar construction, unless you're a collector. For rarity value, it's well worth what it's priced here, and more.

It's OK but don't let the looks make the sale.

I purchased the knife on eBay for $10.00 less. It's a good looking knife and all but there are better knifes for the same or less money available. Fair design but not to swift on the release. Try a friends or have a salesman take one out of the package for you prior to your purchase and then put it side by side with a Gerber and you'll know what I mean. If your buying it as a collector then hey go for it. I mean it is purdy and all.
