The most rugged of all available waders.

I needed two pair of waders for my stewardship crew, and remembered the Pro Lines that I had used when I worked as a summer intern with the state fisheries department back twenty years ago. Hoping that these would be of the same quality as those I used two decades before, I placed the order. Well they arrived and much to my satisfaction, they haven't changed a bit. These are rugged chest waders that can take a beating. My guys have already put them to work, removing downed trees (called "strainers" by paddlers) and riverside thorn bushes and they like them. Just keep an inner tube repair kit in your field bag in case an errant rose thorn punches through them. The only shortcoming here is the lack of inclusion of suspenders and a wading belt... both are 100% critical to the safe and comfortable use of chest waders. It's derelict to not include them, but they still get 5 stars for uber-ruggedness. DON'T USE WITHOUT A WAIST BELT or you could end up at the Pearly Gates in advance of your otherwise scheduled date... go down in the water without one and watch them fill with water and voila: instant anchor. Be safe.

The waders arrived when they were supposed to. They are very good quality. It was exactly what I wanted. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for waterproof chest waders.

This review is about 3 years late, since we got this product for future use during flood events. Bought these in 2009, and finally it was used for the first time this August 2012 in the Philippines just as it was needed very badly due to sudden onset of prolonged moonsoon rains causing flooding everywhere. My brother in law reports it is very useful, kept him dry as he wades in waist deep water, though it is really heavy to wear, but at least it keeps them safe.
