Speaker stand for Center Channel

I was looking for something to raise my center channel speaker off the floor (it won't fit on top of the TV) and these stands were perfect. It comes in a set of two, designed to get larger speakers off the floor, but one works fine for my one Center channel, and I've now got a spare stand. :-) For the price I found nothing that could come close. Only thing I'd improve is to add a way to pivot/tilt the upper platform of the stand to get the speaker angled towards the listner.

I purchased these to space my Infinity bookshelf speakers up off the floor. I needed them lower than my television, but didn't want them sitting right on the floor. These are the perfect size and are very, very stable. Look great vith very nice black finish.

STURDY!!! But made some changes...

So I really really like the finish on these stands! They are REAL WOOD! Non of that particleboard crap.Perfect 8" lift that I was looking for to make my Cerwin-Vega XLS-28's even more jaw dropping! The wire hiding feature thingy... Well lets just say didn't work for me... (2 pairs of 12agw speaker cables per speaker), so in other words didn't fit in the groove thingy but other cable fits flawlessly!MODIFICATION: I didn't like how the small front end was in front and the wider end in back, do to my speakers being front heavy, plus I like the wider end in front. But the reason why I gave it a 4 star is because the manufacturers drilled a whole in the base for wires so they would "stay hidden"... IDK why they did this and when i flipped the pillars around now i have half of a hole showing on each speaker... but its hard to notice unless examining.All in all since I made a change and have to deal with a small little hole, I gave it a 4 outta 5, but I mean if you don't do the wider end in front like I did, you would for sure rate it as a 5 Star, great strength! Holding up a 50 lb speaker... These bad boys are a great addition to your home audio system!
