Perfect for ny needs

I had one of those old style roll up covers on a previous truck. This one installed in 10 minutes and just folds up right away if you have bigger items to put in back of your truck. We have had a foot of snow one night and it didn't bow at all. Great product!

Well, to be honest, I've only had the cover on for about a week. So, if you're looking to examine the longevity of the product, don't start with this review.The product came quickly, was undamaged, and included all of the pieces. It was really as easy to put on as all people claim. It took me about 35 minutes by myself to pull off the old cover, size this one up, place the weatherstripping tape on as needed, and adjust the clamps accordingly. I went out and bought tape not realizing that about 7' of it comes with the cover - here's your "heads up" to save time and money looking for tape.It looks great, is stiff and solid, and makes MUCH less noise at high speeds (65 mph and above) than my previous snap-in style cover did. I am fully pleased thus far. No snow to date, but we shall see how it fairs against the harsher elements.Update: Cover in 2013- Wanted to provide an update to this review, so that I could provide a sense of this product's durability. It's still a great piece that is capable of handling anything that is thrown at it. Going between NJ and Western NY, this cover has handled 2 hurricanes and LOTS of snow without having any issues. It creates a great seal around the bed of the truck and no moisture gets in since it locks down really tight. The bars are very strong and haven't budged at all under any weight, especially that of snow & ice. SO, after 5 years, this is a great cover that comes highly recommended!
