The Lund Genesis Tri-Fold tonneau cover comes assembled and installs in under two minutes. This tri-fold style cover lets you just uncover the section of the bed needed, great for those misty, bad weather days. The easy-to-use clamps with a quick-release cam is designed to provide tension and security for the cover. Great Purchase for my '03 Taco Doublecab

I have owned this tonneau just shy of two years, and I use it regularly, and (better still) happily (excepting a few minutes of cursing, and finally, alteration, on the day it arrived).******** Positives:P#1.) Goes on and off the truck in under 20 seconds.P#2.) Can drive with it folded open (1/3 of the bed remains covered) or sealed (safety clasps keep it safe from wind damage when in the open position).P#3.) Can fit tall items temporarily into the bed without removing the cover (see previous positive).P#4.) Small and light enough to easily carry and store in your hotel room (and you don't have to worry about vandalism or theft).P#5.) Watertight (even in torrential rains), and functionally airtight (there is never any road grit on my gear).P#6.) Takes mere seconds to reposition, if you fail to get it flush the first time.P#7.) Fake "leather" still looks (close to) new after tons of use in all kinds of weather (including extreme cold, and sandstorms).P#8.) Tonneau frame is as tight and secure as the first day on the truck (and was/is sturdy enough to catch some toppled cargo without any structural damage).P#9.) The hardware and fittings are high quality.******** Negatives:N#1.) (The HUGE Negative!!) The two frontmost quick release handles (to lock down the cover) were designed TOO LONG to engage (i.e. lock out vertically) over the raised wheel wells in the bed (they won't even partially engage!!). I had to take a Dremel rotary saw and cut/trim about 1.5 inches from the bottom of each handle before they could clear the wheel well and successfully clamp on to the side-rail of the bed.Note: There is NO WAY the manufacturer could have satisfactorily tested this specific tonneau on our model truck (as it's structurally and physically impossible without shortening the clamp handles). Despite this failure, they got everything else close to perfect (except N#2).N#2.) The bed shape on the Tacoma is slightly trapezoidal (not a perfect rectangle), but this tonneau cover is a perfect rectangle. As such, the cover looks a bit askew, even when it is perfectly positioned over the bed (because of the non-parallel bed sidewalls), and it thus has a bit of unsightly "overhang" on two corners.******** Final thoughts:Even with having to re-engineer the front release handles, and the slight edge overhang, I would buy another cover from this manufacturer in a heartbeat (thus the 5 star rating). Having to trim the handles is an acceptable trade-off for all of the wonderful things this cover brings to the truck. The divergence in shape between the bed and the cover is not great enough to cause any leakage from water or wind/grit. All in all, it has been a great cover. I have been so impressed with its quality and longevity, I started saving up to purchase an identical one (as a reserve, for the day this one finally gets retired).A few minutes of Initial disappointment have given way to thousands of happy road miles.Cheers from AZ.
