Love the look until you get up close..

I love the look this lamp adds to the room, but the shade is too short and the light bulbs stick out the bottom which looks kinda lame and is blinding. Also, the inside of the shade looks really cheap and you can see that too when sitting next to it.

This is a pretty lamp and I bought it even though some of the reviewers had complained about being able to see the lightbulbs. They were right. The shade needs to be bigger -- so I replaced the shade. I do like the stand and pole, though.

A lovely lamp

The lamp is really sturdy and pretty to look at. The problem is that when sitting in the room across from it, the light bulbs show and are not easy on the eyes.
