Product Description
The Sanus Systems Foundations Ultimate UF26 is a 26" Tall Speaker Stand (Pair) for medium-to-large bookshelf speakers up to 35 lb. Its stable triangular base is made of minerals, resins and glass for superior resonance damping. Three textured gray steel pillars support a 6 x 6.5" steel top plate with brass speaker isolation studs for a stable, non-slip surface. Pillars can be filled with shot for added mass and have damping rings at both ends to effectively isolate vibrations. Base includes carpet spikes and pads for use on any floor surface.

Fantastic speaker stand.

These are great stands. Very stable, heavy duty and great isolation. I'm using these with my Polk LSi 9 speakers, they are very heavy and very unstable on my old stands. Now they are very stable on my carpet using the included spikes. The spikes are long enough to get through a carpet and pad right down to the subfloor. This provides better isolation and MUCH more stablity. I did not fill the stands and I'm still very pleased with the results.The bass response on my LSi's is FAR tighter with more punch than before.The stands assemble very easily, I had both set up with the speakers in place in under a half hour.The only thing I can point at as a "flaw", I wish the resin/mineral base was polished... It looks dull and unfinished IMO. I'll do some polishing myself and see where it gets me.I'm now enlighted to how important the stands are! Huge jump in sound quality and they look really nice as well!

I purchased these speaker stands for my Wharfedale 10.1 bookshelf speakers. Their height is perfect for those 12 inch tall speakers putting the speakers at sitting ear level. They are very sturdy with both spikes for carpet and pads for hard floors. The design is simple and elegant.
