The Azden SGM-1000 is designed for Video & Audio Professionals, and includes Azden's unique shockmount holder with integrated shoe-mount. It comes with a windscreen, as well. The SGM-1000 is a highly directional shotgun microphone with a wide frequency response as well as low noise levels. The SGM-1000 can be powered by external Phantom Power (12-48VDC) or a single AA battery (not included).

Well worth the money!

I searched long and hard for a decent XLR, phantom-powered shotgun mic in the $200-400 range, and I have to say, I'm glad I found the Azden SGM-1000. Not only is the sound quality better than I expected (warm and natural, not at all tinny), but the size and weight also make it a perfect boom mic (the bottom of the shockmount is tapped to allow poles to be attached via 3/8"-16 threads).Overall, I am very happy with this mic, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good audio equipment on a budget.

To reach seller for some information is disappointing, wouldn't respond to e-mails, not to mention there's no tel number provided
