Milwaukee Panel Saw Quick Stop Gauging Kit. Does it work?

I bought the saw a few months ago and noticed that the tape stopped at 30". My first project needed material cut into 38 1/2" lengths! I needed consistent sizes so I tried: clamping an extension with a ruler on it; marking the veneer and peeking around the saw to align the cut; marking the saw's motor carriage with magic marker and lining that mark up with a pencil mark on the sheet goods... You get the picture. I ordered the Quick Stop Gauge for the next project and haven't looked back. It's well made, assembles and attaches easily and is dead on once you align everything. If you have a Milwaukee panel saw, you must have this stop. It simplifies & speeds the cutting of repetitive panels dramatically. Installation was straightforward although it required some drilling of metal. The transaction was easy and the product arrived very well packaged in less time than I expected. It is a bit expensive (IMHO) but will pay for itself by saving time. I believe it should come standard with the saw and not an added cost accessory.
