Thick and heavy.

I'm using my swamp thang with a jca50h. Doesn't seem muddy at all to me. It's much more loud and clear than my stock speakers were, and it's got one of the biggest magnets i've seen on a 12" speaker. Despite the high power and sensitivity ratings, it adds some nice speaker breakup to my sound at reasonable volumes. The low end is chunky but tight, and the mids are nice and thick. Treble response was kind of harsh at first, but after some break-in and messing with my eq, it sounds great. Think Tony Iommi's tone from Heaven and Hell live at Wacken.
