Not for dogs over 40lbs

So I bought this kennel to place inside my garage for my dogs to stay in instead of having to place them in a crate when I cant watch them. This kennel weights about 100lbs and it not sturdy enough to hold in any dog over 40 lbs. A dog over that weight, if wanted to, can easily knock the entire kennel over and just walk out. It does come in a small box which is easy to transport and the packaging is pretty fair. I love the 2 configurations but just cant get over the fact that they stated that the kennel is made for large dogs as well as small. This kennel IMO should strictly be used for puppies or small to maybe medium sized dogs. A determined Lab or shepard WILL be able to knock it over and just walk right out. It also comes with a roll out chain link which is pretty weak, not sure what gauge it is as it is not stated. The chain link was all tangled up that it did take some time to untangle. Any adult would be able to lift a side of the kennel up if they wanted to, this is just to give you a idea of how light this product really is. For the price you get what you pay for, so all in all; if you are using this kennel for puppies or small dogs as a dog run or play pen then this kennel would be able to serve those purposes. If you have a shepard or lab or collie you would then have to reinforce the kennel by maybe attaching it to the wall or whatever you can think of. It is pretty easy to put together or take apart.

Good hardware and exactly as described

This Kennel was the best price that I could find, so I was a little concerned about the quality. It was shipped by freight, and the packing and shipping were both excellent! The shipping company called to make sure there would be someone home for the delivery and it was dropped right where we asked it to be. There was plastic wrapped all around the little palette, and all the boxes were in excellent shape.Upon unpacking, it was clear that it was a two-person job (at least, I'd need help!) We decided on the 10x10 configuration. My grown sons came to put it up for me. They took about 3 hours to put all the parts together. Their only complaint in the instructions is the door placement. The company really should re-word that part of the manual. Once they figured it out, it was a breeze.We've had it up for about 3 weeks with the optional cover over it, and it is working great for our Akita pup. He seems to be fine in it, and we've not had any problems with the kennel. It's easy to get into and out of, and it keeps him safely in when we're gone. I would definitely recommend this kennel to anyone looking for a good quality outdoor kennel for small to large dogs.I would definitely recommend this for small to large dogs.

Works great for our Husky and Black Lab

We want to give our Husky a nice home outside in the colder winter time and I was looking at several options before decided to get this one. It was delivered well before the estimated delivery time and came very well packed on a wooden palette. Carrying it to the backyard was possible with my wife and a wheel barrel - it is not too heavy. Installation was pretty easy and took about 3 hours. The installation guide includes both the 10x10 and 5x15 instructions, we used the 10x10 set up.We also bought the roof system ( [....] ) which actually only fits one way, even though the kennel is supposed to be 10x10, it is not exactly 10x10 but about 10x11. We also got the ground anchors and it is now so sturdy that I have zero concerns about either of our dogs getting out of it or breaking it.The other downside is that it is made in China and that actually shows... the inside welds already arrived with rust on them (cleaned it up and sprayed some rust protection inside). Hopefully that is not going to be a problem in a few years...Overall, I am very happy with it and would buy this kennel again.
